When I was sent here from fort Sanders select, we had finally gotten pain meds at a tolerable level. I arrived at 5pm on a Thursday. They didn''t have my pain meds available. Was told pharmacy didn''t get them and orders had been cleast hanged to half of what we worked at least 2 weeks on at select. I''m not a pill seeker but whenever I asked about the status of getting corrected, was brushed off.i kept on asking about it and trying to get it corrected on Friday but come Saturday morning pain meds for dressings and the pain meds for every 6 hours were still half what they should be. Was told that no matter what we had at select, the doctor''s at NHC want to step down pain meds. I can understand if I stubbed my toe. But I have had 5 surgeries and a month at the skilled facility at fort Sanders to remove foreigner gangrene that also had turned into the flesh eating bacteria that tunneled up my back. If my family could have handled wound care, I would not even be here but Friday night I had a nurse try to tell me I had my extended release meds Friday morning (even though the director of nursing let me know pharmacy wasn''t able to get it til Friday afternoon) I advised no I didn''t (she said its every 12 hours, I advised I am aware) i let her know again I DIDN''T take it Friday morning cause they didn''t even have in the building. She let me know she wasn''t going to argue with me, but was going to get her paperwork and show me I took it, as she was leaving I said "really" and she replied from hallway "yes really". Almost like she wanted confrontation. I have not cried this much in a long time, I have to ask about Foley care. And with pain meds now being half strength for 2 full days I literally feel like I''ve been in a car wreck. I had high hopes coming here my mom worked her for 12 years. I was a candystriper for a few

Staff is readily available, competent and super polite.
A professional and caring medical staff. Always going above and beyond with care and understanding. They are "5 Stars PLUS!"
Great facility, clean, professional, friendly staff.
I visited my mom for the first time after her being admitted. I was impressed with the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and I couldn''t detect any foul odors. Mom said they were taking very good care of her and that the food was good. So far we have no complaints!
