I agree with the rest on the one start reviews. I would give it 0 but that is not an option. The working staff are on break more than not. They walk by rooms with alarms and call buttons to stand around and chat in the hall. They are rude to the patients and dont even try to hide it. The social services, my contact was Dora, promised everything would be taken care of and did not come close to that promise. Did not even have discharge papers ready when we were supposed to get my mom out. If you have a loved ones there, you should fine somewhere else for them. If you have a choice, do not choose this place.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My father had a stroke and had the misfortune of being transferred here, after his hospital stay. From day one, it was clear that the nurses would do their jobs only when it was convenient for them. My father was on the "rehab floor", so it should''ve been clear that he was there for a short period of time and that the main focus was to REHABILITATE his health. Yet, he only had about an hour of rehab a day, M-F. But, if the nurses didn''t get him up and dressed in time, he wouldn''t even be taken to therapy. He was prescribed occupational, physical and speech therapy. There''s no way he received that in only an hour, if they even took him. My mother visited my father daily, for a minimum of 5 hours. During the time she was there, the nurses rarely came to my father''s room. My mother had to feed, bathe, dress and care for my father. My sister and I live out of state. But we had several phone calls with the social worker Dora and the management team. They assured us that his care would improve. It did NOT. After five weeks, the insurance stopped paying for his stay. My mother was told that she would have to start paying out of pocket. She declined, since SHE was doing all of the work anyway. She opted to have him discharged and sent home. On the day of departure, he was supposed to be transported to their home that morning. As of 2pm, he still wasn''t home and my mom (who doesn''t drive) had to get my uncle to take her to pick my father up. We also learned that since they thought he was being discharged that morning, NO ONE had fed my father or given him care that whole day. This place is what I HATE about America''s healthcare system. They only care about money and insurance policies, not the patients.

Please Do Not send your love ones here. They will be neglected. That energy has to be coming from the top, because Debi was extremely rude when we attempted to speak to her about our concerns. She said, “I don’t know who you are” , and just brushed us off. Our mother is afraid of eating because no one wants to bring her to the restroom. She obviously cannot do it herself because of her amputation. When this was addressed a staff member said that she would have to do the number 2 in a bed pan. Whoa, in a bed pan??? The rehab she was in before that never had a problem with helping her get into the wheelchair and to the restroom. It’s just has been issues after issues with this place to the point where our mom checked herself out against doctor’s orders. I finally convinced her to come back after I was reassured that things would change. They admitted that her pain management was delayed. She went 2 weeks there with just taking Tylenol for an amputation??? The staff ignores her calls at night when she feels pain. Why was she transported from the rehab to the hospital for wound care at 11am this past Friday and was left there until closing at 4:30p. Someone isn’t doing their job. The wound care nurse called me to get in touch with the rehab because apparently their number is blocked. What is that about??? I left voicemails and they have yet to be returned. I will continue to advocate for my mother, especially when she is afraid of being mistreated, so she avoids the conflicts. She’s basically crying to us about her pain and asking us to come help her into the bathroom. Most of us live busy lives and work for a living, so it’s sad to say that we cannot be there for her every day. Something has to give. All of this that has been going on with our mother and this facility is just simply inhumane. -1 ⭐️ Please do not give me an automated response saying you’re sorry and what your mission is and just do something about it by Producing results.

The nursing staff and afternoon shift manager are vile, callous people who will outright verbalize their disdain for helping any patient other than once every two hours in which they "check on them" (not help them). I was threatened to have the police called on me and have me removed when I complained about my loved one not being able to use the restroom without help that they refused to give them. They also said that my family member was only crying and complaining because they have a mental illness and they know best because they (the shift manager) is "GOD" on the property. Do not send your loved ones here unless you want them to suffer neglect and pass away.
