My parent has lived at Crane''s Mill for 15 years. About 5-6 years ago, the administration began cost cutting. They changed the food service; they cut back on health service staff; they reduced activities. My parent enjoys the friends they have made, but they feel trapped by the contract they signed and the money they have paid in. This may be a problem at other CCRCs, too. Be aware that the administration has lots of latitude to change conditions without residents consent.
