My loved one is currently a resident at Isle at Watercrest Mansfield and everything has been great for him at this facility so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff, care services, meals and value for cost are also great. My suggestion: make sure that medication and therapy are set up for day one for your loved one. It was a little confusing and chaotic for us not knowing how to get that done. I would recommend Isle at Watercrest Mansfield to others.

I liked the Isle at Watercrest - Mansfield. My sister went with me. It's really clean and kept up. The rooms are very nice and spacious. They had a Jack and Jill room. So, because it is memory care I heard the patients get mixed up with their personal items. So, I wish each person would have their own bathroom, instead of sharing, but the rooms are nice. They have memory games where they play with someone. It was upscale. They just had it redone as well. So, they have wood floorings, instead of carpet. They would change it all out to wood floors, which gives it a cleaner look. The person who showed us around, was very informative about everything, and all our questions were answered. I just thought the price was too much, it was $5000 plus care. They called it customized care.

I would tell others about the things that we didn't know: they don't have alarms the memory care rooms, so if someone falls there's no way to alert someone else, and there are only two aides for twenty residents. We like it, they are very communicative. I check in everyday and they are responsive. I do feel that my loved one is safe there, aside from the call button issue. The saving grace has been the aides; they are very personable and they take extra care to be attentive to the clients, they are really good. I would recommend Isle at Watercrest.

My relative and I toured Isle at Watercrest Mansfield and from the time we stepped in, they were very hospitable and very informative. They provided us with a lot of detailed information to help guide us on our search in what to look for and the type of documents that we need to have in place before placing my mother. So that was very, very helpful. That's when we learned that we didn't have certain things in order. They provided us with an activity listing as to what their daily and weekly programs are. It was laid out and a nice program, but I don't know if I can say it was suited for my mother in her condition. They have many activities and different things like TV time, but for my mother's condition, not so much. I don't think it would have suited her. She has dementia, so she'll probably need a little bit more oversee than just being placed in the area. The invaluable information that was shared with us was top-level. When we went in, we were greeted. Even when one didn't have a mask, they provided it for us. And the lady that took us around was prompt and patient. Location-wise, unless you've been there before, it's easy to get confused because they have two facilities, and we had a little difficulty realizing which entry to go in. Part of the information that was provided was something about memory care. They spoke to us about how they watch over their patients and how each one is evaluated differently for the type of care that they would need. They showed us the security door, so even if they got up and run, they can't get through the door.
