From The Community
Do you want to exchange the burdens of cooking, cleaning and maintaining a house for a retirement rich in rewarding experiences and interesting people? At Brookdale Mansfield, our assisted living community in Mansfield, Texas, you can do all of that — and more!
Imagine how you would fill your days if you didn’t have any chores to handle. Instead of going to the grocery store and preparing meals, you could meet your friends for a morning fitness class or join a walking club. Rather than sweating buckets as you pull weeds from the garden beds, you could participate in a Wii bowling competition.
No matter how you want to spend your days, the important thing is that you have options. If you need a few ideas, our recreational calendar is a great place to get started:
-
Movie nights
-
Brain trivia
-
Bingo games
-
Crafting classes
-
Karaoke classics
-
Book clubs
-
Scenic drives
Because you have your own private apartment on campus, you never have to worry about needing a little R&R. Each one is spacious and offers an abundance of natural light, making it the ideal place to sit and read a book, catch up with your loved ones or take an afternoon nap.
One of the most important aspects of life here is knowing you have the quality care you need. We’ll work together before you arrive to create a custom care plan that addresses your specific needs. You only pay for the services you actually want, too. Perhaps you want help with daily living tasks like bathing, dressing, managing medication and coordinating outside healthcare options, or you simply want us to handle the household chores and let you get back to doing the things you love most.
Either way, our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency so you can enjoy the peace of mind you need to make the most of this season of life.

Read moreThey have really nice and sweet staff. We picked this community, because I thought the smaller setting would be more intimate and easier for getting around, but my mom has mentioned she would like more of a chef type menu with different choices in meals. I would recommend to other families.

My mom moved into Brookdale Mansfield. It's a nice place. The food is good. The rooms are good. Her room doesn't have a carpet. It's got a bathroom, lights, a sink, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The staff members are friendly. I've eaten there a couple of times, and the food's pretty good. They play bingo, play the piano, and throw a ball around. They offer plenty of activities. It's a little on the expensive side. We're paying for extra things, like dressing, bathing, and whatnot.

Brookdale Mansfield was a nice facility, but a little dated. The rooms were average, but a little older, so it wasn't as nice and new as some of the other ones. Upkeep was good though. The staff was very nice, very informative, and tried to help me find a place for my mom. They had a community patio, which was nice, as well as a nice dining area. They also had games, activities, parties, and outings.
