A few years ago we were very pleased with HC. The last year of my mom''s time at HC we watched things go down hill. Too many staff changes, cleaning was mediocre, food was blah.
We just moved my mother out after 3 years. The management changed and we started to see roaches in her room and sometimes her pills were on the floor, we didn''t want her living like that so we moved her to a nicer, cleaner place. Senior living places should not have carpet, maybe they do it in case of falls but it smells over time.

7 years ago I wanted my person to move here because it was so pretty and Ashley was very kind and followed up with my person regularly whom was hesitant to leave our family home. My person had a hip fx and the decision was made to move anyway. I toured all the area had to offer last August because these bad reviews were really soul crushing to deal with, in addition to transition of losing family home and taking on other cg responsibilities for other family members. I had a LOT going on, so I called corporate office and they helped immensely, and then they gave us the current Exec. director and lead nurse. These women came with a whole team of other very strong women committed to fixing all the wonky 2023 bad stuff. The facility is having to recover from a lot, but believe me when I say, THIS is where you want your person because the community is happy, kind, loving and supportive to eachother, and with the current admin, the sky is truly the limit at their devotion to helping take care of our people. My person is thriving and as happy with their view and life as any 87 yr old. You absolutely can''t beat the homey feeling in this place now. Thank you all!
