My daughter is currently a patient at Mission Point. As other reviews indicate, the facility is not perfect. However, no facility is. We knew this in advance of choosing Mission Point. However, I visited Mission Point and another skilled nursing facility before choosing. The other place was significantly higher rated. It was newer and brighter. We chose Mission Point because the staff I met were warmer and the place felt more like a family environment than an “institution.” Also importantly, a number of the staff were new and committed to making improvements. I believed in their sincerity and in their likelihood of near-term and long-term success. Overall, my daughter has received very good care during her extended stay. Almost all of the staff is very caring, friendly, and helpful. Of most importance, when there has been a problem, the administrators and supervisors have invested their attention and energy to get it corrected. My wife and I live out-of-state. Due to the critical nature of our daughter’s health problems, we remained in Las Vegas for 8 weeks, the last several of them while she was at Mission Point. We were able to return home when we saw first-hand that she was in the care of people we could trust to watch over her. Thank you, Mission Point. Keep up the good work.

I am deeply disappointed with most of the level of care provided to my mother during her stay at Mission Point Rehabilitation Facility in Centennial Hills, Las Vegas. Over nearly two weeks, it became evident that the some of the staff''s priorities did not align with the well-being of their patients. One of the most concerning issues was the disturbance caused by staff’s rowdiness and apparently just having fun during weekend nights right next to patient’s rooms. While I understand the need for night shift workers to stay alert, it is unacceptable for them to prioritize their entertainment over the patient’s rest. The noise made it nearly impossible for patients, like my mother, who were undergoing rehabilitation, to get the sleep they desperately needed for recovery. This is 2 weekends in a row now. There’s no reason patients should be kept awake due to loud and obnoxious medical staff. Furthermore, the quality of the food served was subpar, bordering on inedible. My mother frequently had to send her meals back due to their unappetizing nature. Witnessing the state of the food firsthand was appalling. "In addition to the poor quality of the food, another alarming incident occurred when a helpful member of the kitchen staff approached my mother yesterday in her room. Shockingly, it was revealed that they had been picking out my mother''s food selections on the daily meal sheets without her knowledge or consent. It was discovered that someone on the facility''s staff had been completing the meal sheets for her, depriving my mother of the opportunity to choose her preferences. This left both my mother and the staff member in disbelief. It is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about the integrity and ethics of the facility''s staff. Even more distressing was the lack of basic care exhibited by some staff members. When my mother requested assistance yesterday in changing her bedding, which hadn''t been done in almost two weeks, she was met with incompetence and indifference. Instead of fulfilling their duty to care for patients, the staff member''s response was shockingly inadequate and she asked my mother to change her own sheets which would be placing unnecessary strain on my mother, who was already in a vulnerable state due to her medical condition. My mother had tubes and drains implanted in her kidneys to promote her kidneys to function properly again due to kidney failure. The reason she’s in a rehabilitation facility is to rest while she heals. The staff member told my mother she didn’t know how to make a bed and ultimately laid the sheet on top of the bed without making it. Are you kidding me?!!! I’m still in shock she’s been lying in a filthy bedding for 2 weeks!!! This is horrible treatment!! Knowing she has kidney bags that leak on occasion as well.. I just feel so bad for these patients!! It is unacceptable that a rehabilitation facility entrusted with the well-being of its patients employs individuals who lack the necessary skills and compassion to provide proper care. This negligence undermines the very purpose of such a facility and puts patients'' health at risk. These facilities make a lot of money from insurance companies to care for these patients. This review is not intended to spite or harm the facility but rather to bring attention to the urgent need for improvement in patient care standards. It is my hope that by shedding light on these issues, positive changes can be implemented to ensure the well-being of all patients in the future. This facility is supposed to be a safe haven for our family members, a place where we can entrust their care with peace of mind. It is already a daunting and frightening experience for patients to transition from the hospital to a rehabilitation center, especially after weeks of illness and near-death experiences. Therefore, it is imperative that such facilities provide a nurturing and supportive environment. Unfortunately, Mission Point Rehabilitation Facility in Centennial Hills aside from a few helpful employees fails to meet this expectation.

Not even worth one star, therapy is subpar, the food is just okay, they send out sandwiches on the hoofs of the loaf, sometimes not even drinks on the tray. I worked at this facility for a little over 6 months I saw 2 directors in that time. I was wrote up for not talking to a person that had nothing to do with my department , last I checked I was in a free country, everyone is so rude there , some staff are bullies I do not suggest you put family members in this place, and definitely don’t suggest you work here, unless you like having 13 patients one day I had like 17 patients, the company don’t care about the well being of their employees they constantly cancel at this facility. Stay Away!!!

My mother was in this facility for 18 hours and literally almost died because the nurses were too lazy to look at her paperwork so they could administer her medications. I left at 6pm and when I arrived at 8:30 the next morning they had to call 911. My mom was told to "calm down" or completely ignored when she asked for her medications. She asked for them several times thought out the night and I was assured by a nurse when I left that she would receive them by 9pm. She had to spend 8 days in the MICU because of Welbrook''s incompetence. Do not bring your loved one here unless you can be with them 24/7 to monitor their care and advocate for their needs. This place is a joke and should be shut down.

0 Starts should be an option. Kendra, CNA, "milks the clock" and did not help my mother once while family was there and requested assistance. Another CNA had to respond because she was tired of waiting on Kendra. Kendra should not be in the care for elderly or those who need assistance. She had an apathetic disposition and blatantly ignored my family. I cannot tell the details of how disgusted I am but I will be talking to the charge nurse and case manager!!!
