They have a great staff who are caring and compassionate. They are very patient and the facility is super nice. I’d recommend it to anyone looking but not sure where to go. This is a great place.

I was prescribed two antibiotics when I first arrived at this facility. I was told I only had a few days or so left on the Bactrim and that was going to end and I would start Doxycycline. The doctors and nurses continued to tell me that I needed both antibiotics. I was throwing up regularly daily especially after med administration and meals. I got to the point where i insisted that my medications were reviewed by the infectious disease doctor which never happened. I was told constantly that I had to get used to the medications as they were being given. I continued to have severe nausea and vomiting episodes. It came to a point where I insisted on being sent back to the hospital where I had my surgeries and to be seen again by the infectious disease doctor at the medical hospital. I was admitted to the hospital where I did in fact get seen by infectious disease. I was told at that time that I was not supposed to be on both antibiotics at the same time and that the orders to the rehab hospital had probably been transcribed in error. They immediately discontinued the doxycycline to do a challenge to see which medication was making me sick. I was discharged from Summerlin Advanced care rehab hospital and admitted to the medical hospital for evaluation and observation. They will definitely be hearing from me again! Legally

My parent has been a patient at Advanced Healthcare twice now. The first time was in 2015 and again this year. My dad went there not being able to hold his head up long, sit up, stand or walk. He has been there about 5 weeks now and he is walking with a walker. I am so impressed with the physical therapy team there. I am impressed with the overall total care my dad has received. The facility has an upscale hotel feel and the food is made to order fresh for each patient there. And my dad said the food is really good. I recommend this rehab 100% to any patient that needs rehab services.

If you love your loved ones do not send them here. My dad was a patient in this facility a few years ago and it was pretty good. Not anymore. The head of nursing stopped my mom on the way to lunch in their dining room to inform her that she had a collapsed lung and that there was nothing that could be done. Later the same person came and told her that surgery actually could be performed to fix it. The kicker? She doesn''t have a collapsed lung!! The day before my mom was rushed to Mountain View hospital because she couldn''t breathe, we discovered that they had skipped one of her breathing treatments. Probably something that she should have had since missing it possibly landed her in the ICU. UPDATE: My mom was admitted to Mountain View with sepsis. According to the doctors, she was "very, very sick". She passed away two days later. She died from cardiac arrest due to septic shock caused by bilateral pneumonia.
