I could not be any happier with how this facility treated and took care of my mom. Every day a nurse would call me with updates of how mom was doing and tell me of a new vitamin or medicine or new physical therapy they were going to try to make her better. They always let me come see her any time of day or evening, which was amazing. I got to know the day time and night time shifts of nurses and they all were nice, accommodating and had a sense of humor, and I felt like they were my friends. Mom always felt like they took good care of her and made bathing easy and simple, which was much tougher at her house. I was always surprised how delicious her meals were; because I use to eat her left overs. Big portions of asparagus or sweet potatoes or a little dessert on her tray inspired her to eat. I am so grateful and blessed that my mom was placed here after she broke her hip. My mom has recently passed (God bless her beautiful soul) Victoria Healthcare & Rehabilitation made this a positive and beautiful memorable transition. Thank you♥️🙏🏻 Knowing mom was happy, content and peaceful was everything to me.⭐️

Horrible experience having my grandmother in this facility. She stayed there one night before we had to take her out AMA because they treated her so badly. She was recovering from back pain and they were so rough moving her around that her pain was worse than when she arrived. When we tried to call the facility to talk to her nurse, no one answered the phone. I tried calling for over 45 minutes and no one ever answered the phone. They had her in a semi private room which was fine, except for the fact that her roommate was yelling all night so she got not sleep. Instead of moving either her or her roommate, so that they both had peace, they kept them in the room together. Would not recommend this facility to anyone and will not ever be sending my grandma there again for skilled nursing.
Read moreThe care and attentiveness to patients is more than what I expected. They are caringand defiantly good at what they do. Facility is clean and well cared for and everyo I was there for a knee replacement and they worked hard to get mobile.
13 years in the business! I grew up in this place. The best nursing staff in town! Highly recommend Victoria Healthcare Best SNF in OC!!!

2020 has definitely been a tough year for everyone...regular civilians and especially frontline workers. We took our grandfather there for 2 reasons, it was close by and the facility came highly recommended. My family''s health always comes first so I took that recommendation and was thrilled at the services we received. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. my grandfather was very happy there and when we did talk to him, he would tell us about his day and how his nurse took care of him. In the event I needed these services again, I would definitely come back.

21 days, and exit with a bedsore. Not the place to come if you''re immobile and need to use diapers instead of a bathroom. Unless you can change your own diaper while healing from a broken pelvis. The Hoag-affiliated doctor prescribed an additional heavy pain killer without discussing it with me (the daughter), even though he noted in the chart that he _had_ discussed it with me. They use jargon and acronyms when "explaining" things, from diet to exit procedures. Several patients were demented and loud about it. Some wandered about. One slammed the bathroom door in my mother''s room; she was not a roommate. The first roommate complained loudly about having to share the room; my mother was moved. The next roommate checked out early, feeling that her condition was deteriorating. Another roommate "petted" my mother affectionately; _we_ requested a new room. Note that lots of the reviews are by employees about what a great place this is to work. They didn''t seem so thrilled to be there when tending patients. BTW, the exit report never mentioned the bedsore; we discovered it during the first diaper change at the next location, a Board and Care home. Avoid VHC.
