Communication is fairly good when we ask questions but could be improved with a status report on a regular basis.

I visited Pacifica Senior Living South Coast. They were very unprofessional. It's a very small community. Their TV room was the size of one of their hallways. It was very small with one couch. You could peek into any of the rooms, which a lot of the doors were open, and it was more of a hospital setting than it was senior living. It didn't look like assisted living to me at all and that's the area I was in. I was not in the memory care part at all. They had an outdoor space, but it was like someone's back patio. It was tiny, so the outdoor space for the residents was nonexistent.
Read moreI toured Pacifica Senior Living South Coast. I like that it was a smaller facility, and it seemed fine. It was a little more institutional than the other place. The rooms seemed small. The community spaces seemed nice and adequate. Some of the furnishings were a little bit nicer.
Pacifica was the best choice we made for my dad who recently had a stroke. The staff is so caring and patient. I have peace of mind knowing my dad is getting the best care possible.
I would recommended it, to family/friends.
