Completely unprofessional monsters who WILL mistreat your loved ones
Our experience with The Villages lack of care was horrible. I do not use that word lightly. She would've died if we didn't get her out of there!
[name removed] is a terrific and kind staff member who will go above and beyond to get the job done. She's always happy and very pleasant to the residents. You can see her smile through her mask. Thank you [name removed] for all you do for the residents and staff.

The staff don't seem to care about the residents as it'll be weeks between bathing them no matter how much they cry and beg to be cleaned when they can't do it themselves. They also refuse medication as a form of punishment. My mother HATED this place and she called me in the middle of the night crying on more than one occasion. Because of quarantine I couldn't do anything about. She wasn't there because we put her there. (names removed) put her there without telling us. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place

I was a student intern here and I felt so welcomed during my rotation. The staff was helpful and inclusive. They allowed us to sit in on their morning meeting and encouraged us to ask questions. Simply acknowledging the presence of students makes a huge difference in our rotation and helps us build the confidence we need for the workplace. It was clear all the team members have a true passion for caring for residents and making them feel at home and comfortable. There is a true sense of community throughout the campus. The facilities were well kept and the diet staff truly made my long-term care rotation memorable.
