My mother has moved into West Fork Village and she's happy. She loves the area. She likes her apartment. The people are nice. The staff is wonderful. She has a two-bedroom apartment that is very roomy, spacious, and very clean, with lots of windows. They have different floor plans. They've got a big area in the back. They've got a room to do puzzles and arts and crafts. They have a dance once a month. They have activities. The people go out for lunch and to a movie once a week. It's easy to move around in. Value for money is excellent.

I've moved into West Fork Village. I'm fully satisfied. Everybody here has been friendly and helpful, the staff and the people. They serve three meals a day and that's provided. They have transportation twice a week for us to go to doctor appointments and other things as long as we make reservations ahead of time. It's just really good. I'm happy. There are different floor plans. I have the smallest and it has a small refrigerator and a kitchen sink, but they don't like for us to cook in our rooms, which is completely understandable. I have a nice little balcony outside my door. There's a ceiling fan and it's just everything I asked for. There is a courtyard, there are common areas, and they have a library. They have a living room where they have church services a couple of times a week. We had a dance. They have lots of activities every so often. They have a tour where they go to eat out. There's nothing I've needed that I haven't had. The staff is top-notch. The food is very good and very satisfying. Value for money is really good.

I toured West Fork Village. It seemed to be a large facility, but the rooms were very small. One thing that I didn't like was the dining facility, you would have to wait in line at a steam table to pick up your meal, so right there that really kind of turned me off. The staff I met was very friendly. He was knowledgeable, he knew a lot of the people and he was outgoing. The facilities seemed dated. They seemed to be like they were built quite a while ago. So that's the overall impression that I got. I saw a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom, but they were very small. I don't know if I could have put a queen-sized bed in the bedroom.

West Fork Village is an older community. The people who showed me around on the tour were very nice. They supply three meals a day. I cook my own stuff, so that is not one that I'd be interested in. They have what are called cottages that have kitchens in them, but they're out of my price range. The one they showed me was a studio without a kitchen. They call it a mini kitchen, but all it had was a little refrigerator and a sink. They had a small library, a courtyard, and a dining room.
