Q: What are the apartments like at the Preserve?

Incoming residents at the Preserve have their choice of apartment, depending on their level of care and availability. Layouts include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments each complete with private bathrooms and large closets. 

Independent living apartments offer larger floor plans with full kitchens, washers and dryers, and balconies for each unit. Some include attached garages and dens for residents who need a little more space to feel at home. 

Assisted living and memory care apartments feature a minimalist, dementia-friendly layout that minimizes risks for falls and confusion. They are easy to navigate, free of obstacles that may cause dangerous incidents. 

The best way to see what the apartments are like at the Preserve is to tour the community. Q: Do I need long-term care insurance to live at the Preserve?

No. Residents may pay out-of-pocket or arrange alternative ways to finance their care. While long-term care insurance can help with the costs of senior living, it isn’t a requirement to live at the Preserve at Palm-Aire.

Q: Will Medicare pay for the Preserve?

Unfortunately, Medicare plans do not cover non-medical senior living communities. Because the Preserve is not a nursing home (or similar skilled nursing facility), they are not eligible to accept Medicare as payment for room and board.
