Feel Welcome at The Court At Palm Aire
Making a move to a senior living community is a huge step, but The Court At Palm Aire in Pompano Beach, Florida, strives to make it painless. In fact, this community throws housewarming parties for new residents and their whole family to meet new friends and get a feel for the place. New residents can even choose how they want to arrive on the scene — a tea party, wine-and-cheese party, or a luncheon.
Once here, life becomes easy. Housekeeping, laundry, transportation and three scratch-made meals a day in the dining room mean no more cooking, cleaning or driving. That leaves more time to make personal connections and explore interests. Activities include exercise classes, arts and crafts groups, card games, happy hour socials and scheduled outings. And there’s plenty to choose from at The Court At Palm Aire; residents love sitting by the firepit, doing laps in the heated pool and gathering for movie nights in the theater. Aside from the great shopping malls and restaurants in Pompano, residents love to head to Isle Casino Pompano Park, Palm Aire Country Club, Pompano Beach Pier and, of course, the Atlantic beaches.

I stayed at CAPA for 3 weeks for a winter get away from the Canadian winter. I was housed in a well equipped, comfortable guest suit.I had 3 meals a day that I enjoyed with the rest of the mostly permanent residents, who were welcoming, pleasant people. The staff were very helpful throughout , as going out of their way to accommodate for all my needs. If my health allows, and there is room for me, I will certainly go back for another “respid” stay next winter. I had both parents living at CAPA for quite a while, 7 years +, first in IL and then in AL. IL was very good but as they went into the Covid period, services went downhill. I had to move them into AL during Covid and that''s when the service really dropped off. Food was terrible. Aides were rude. After dad passed I had enough of hearing from mom how she would need assistance and have to wait 45 min. for someone to show up The staff would tell us they are short staffed and need help so they were on another floor. Aides were leaving and not being replaced. Management would say their staffing level is fine. Finally, enough was enough. Moved mom out. She''s much happier at her new place.

Mom and dad lived there for over 7 years. At first in IL then in AL. Their service and food were good at first, but everything is going downhill fast. Aides in AL maybe friendly but very slow to respond. Food is not good at all. Biggest complaint in a recent survey by 5 Star supports that claim...
Mom and dad lived there for over 7 years. At first in IL then in AL. Their service and food were good at first, but everything is going downhill fast. Aides in AL maybe friendly but very slow to respond. Food is not good at all. Biggest complaint in a recent survey by 5 Star supports that claim. Finally had enough and after dad passed, moved mom out. She was not getting any help when she called. Finally, I'm sorry but when Covid hit, the service went down, activities stopped yet did they offer a refund for the loss of these services and for the bagged lunches and dinners?
