I went all the way out here for an interview it’s was cold and raining! I interviewed with Monique we had a long discussion she kept telling me they were kinda in a crisis for hiring people. It was good place to work.etc Something didn’t sit well with me. She made it like I was hired but was gaslighting. She told me I’ll here something by that day at 4 and even said she would come in early to accommodate me, because I’m on the bus, she gave me a personal number everything for me to not hear anything! So why take people personal information if you’re not going to hire them? I don’t like that! Why lie why ask for my ssn? SMH

The industry is struggling as a whole I know but the amount of turnover of staff both administratively and in hands on care has been troubling. Many promises/things pointed to as a selling point when interviewing before chose have been unfulfilled. Started off well but quickly derailed and continues to decline with more staff exits, more perks unavailable, and communication about it all being after the fact or right as happening

My dad fell more than I was told and got in a fight that sent him to the hospital and ended up being the fall that killed him. We dealt with a horrible transfer of ownership before it became the Sheridan. Staff turnover was high, not really sure how my dad was doing health wise. Never met the on staff physician and the list goes on. Just seemed like nobody was willing to help or do anything due to people taking everything to court. It is hard for me to say some of this because there are some amazing people that work there and it just seemed the turnover created many issues.

When my loved one moved into The Grande at Chesterfield, it was locally owned. The food was good, the activities were varied and the staff was pretty stable and responsive. Since then, the facility has been sold twice and I believe it is now owned by an investment group. My loved one is now very unhappy here, but doesn't want to move at this time. My loved one's biggest complaint is the food and there have been numerous turnovers with the primary cooks. A more nutritious menu is an improvement that definitely needs to be made. At this time, I would not recommend this facility to others.
