It is fine if you are independent living and into cliques...Assisted living if you have an aide to take you to activities and meals...otherwise you will sit in your room and wait. They are chronically understaffed and the building has issues with keeping the hot water on and leaks in the dining room. They are lacking in male care givers and your loved one will wait in his pee soaked pants. Finally, your opinion matters only if you have the direct ear of management...that position is held by the richer independent living guests. Good luck as an assisted living guest to have your concerns addressed, you will be overruled and forgotten.

My family and I would like to commend the staff from administration, the Director of Nursing down to the one on one caregivers. My mom recently passed away but through all her health struggles, she was well taken care of and considered Crossroads her home. I wish she had more time to enjoy all the activities. We feel she was treated with respect and staff went out of their way to make her and the family feel special. We are forever grateful. Thank you for all your hard work.

The Crossroads at Bon Air was nice and it would be a perfect choice for what we were interested in. I talked to 1 or 2 residents there and they were very satisfied with the conditions and the facilities. The employees and everybody seemed very nice. It was an ideal place and we might have picked that one. The rooms we looked at were all empty, but I could see where things that we had would fit in there very nicely. I was looking at the 1-bedroom and they did show us the 2-bedroom, but I think we were probably going to be satisfied with the 1-bedroom.

I'm at The Crossings at Bon Air. It's fairly quiet. It's nice. The people are very nice. The nurses and the service people are all very nice. They keep up with the place. In general, it's good. I have two rooms, one is the bedroom, which is big, and the other is the living room, which is also fairly big. There's a bathroom, too. There's kind of a kitchenette-type thing. There are different rooms. There is a library. There is a beauty salon for the residents. The place is right by the road, so it's not great to walk out and walk along the road, but they have places where you can walk. I like it here.
