My mom is in a wheelchair and is in a late stage of Alzheimer’s but is peaceful and safe. We have been very pleased with the care Mom has received at Auberge The Woodlands. The reasons we chose the Auberge were the home- like atmosphere, the staff who were long time employees, 24/7 access for visits, the seamless integration between 3rd party hospice care and the staff and the cleanliness, beauty and security of the grounds. There are great daily activities for the residents. We love the gatherings they have for residents and their families to celebrate holidays, etc. The food and music are outstanding. It’s a great way for Mom to see her family in a fun and festive gathering. The few minor issues that have come up have been addressed in a timely, receptive manner. The staff is responsive and values our feedback. The impromptu comments by Mom saying she feels safe and cared for there are what we needed to hear to be able to lie our heads on our pillows at night and sleep in peace.
