The Arbors at Amherst provides a genuine home for my Mom as she ages with dementia. Her apartment is ample but cozy, she''s able to keep her beloved support cat, and she has settled into a routine with friends at meals, stimulating activities, and delicious food. The staff has gotten to know her quirks, so they''re able to collaborate effectively with me to provide a happy, safe, fun environment for my deeply confused Mom. I am so grateful for the stress reduction in my life that comes from knowing Mom is safe, and for the wonderful quality of life The Arbors affords my very deserving Mom!

Mom moved to the Arbors at Amherst Reflections Community one year ago today, and I cannot say enough about the facility, management, and the staff. My sister and I sleep better at night knowing mom is in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for her long-term care. The staff and nursing team are highly skilled and communicative with our family. Daily, structured activities have provided mom the opportunity to build community with her fellow residents and make new friends. It has been remarkable to witness her progress since arriving to the Arbors. We are deeply grateful.

Mom got involved in several activities, made some nice friends and continued to "be a hoot". But was truly well cared for. The team was communicative, responsive and very understanding. As a retired social worker, I''m finicky with high expectations. They delivered. Thanks to all of the team and staff!! Highly recommended!
