I would recommend Tech Ridge to any friend & share my experience has been positive. The staff was welcoming, & the facility is very clean.
Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care was a really nice facility. I've gone there a couple of times, and each time I go the personnel has changed. But they're all friendly and kind. They had a craft room, a little theater, and they had a lot of rooms for activities.
We looked at Tech Ridge Oaks and that was really good, but they didn't have an opening in memory care. They only had opening in assisted living at the time. They're brand new, very clean, and very bright in there. The people I met were very nice. I met one of the workers and the lady that ...

It was a very nice place.

The number one thing we noticed is that the people who work there really seem to enjoy it. My loved one was there a short period of time, and didn't have a chance to experience food or activities. We were in a time crunch and had to find a place overnight. After reaching out to A Place For Mom, Tech Ridge Oaks was the first place to call us (within an hour) They set up a tour immediately, and it was such a nice looking place we went ahead and signed with them. My dad had been in assisted living for over a year, so we kind of knew what to look for. Tech Ridge Oaks checked the boxes for us-- it was clean, the people were very nice and the vibe of the place was good.

My mother moved into Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care. We chose it because it was very clean and well-kept, and I liked what they had to offer. The place looks fairly new, and it is very clean. Their dining room is like a 5-star restaurant. It's nice and clean. They have a menu, so they don't cook the same thing for everybody every day. You get to pick from a menu and they have maybe 7 or 8 different dishes. They have 4 or 5 different desserts. They have a lot of activities. They have games like card games and bingo. They have a gardening class. They take them out and they play with plants outside. The first day that I checked her in, they had a Father's Day Celebration. So, they invited all the fathers to have dinner with them. The staff seems to be very accommodating, very attentive, and very helpful. My mom always speaks Spanish and maybe half of the staff there speak Spanish, and they all speak Spanish in the cafeteria.

Positives: Friendliest of staff, prompt response time when we experience an issue or need something, very clean facility.. Based on the experience we have had so far, yes we would recommend to other families. I found Tech Ridge Oaks to be the best placement for her assisted living facilities in the central Austin area. I researched 18 facilities and visited nine. I am very happy with the choice for my father. Negatives: I have been sharing concerns for improvement areas in regard to the medication dispersement team and the dining room foods and service with the facility Director.
