I was at Scottish pines for rehab. I was there for 21 days. My first day I cried and said I didn''t want to be here I should be at home. But the next day I was better about being there. The staff was good to me and made me feel better about my stay. Staff was very attentive to my needs. I actually enjoyed my therapy sessions. Overall the food was good and if I didn''t like what was being they would get me something else. Egg salad sandwiches was my go to. Best egg salad. Have to thank Callie and Ms Mary always on time with my medicine and they were just great. Thanks to all the staff that made my stay great.

My Aunt is a resident there and I think the facility is deplorable on all levels. She isn''t receiving the quality of care she is entitled or deserves. The staff, few as it is, walk the halls while the call light is on; not knowing nor caring why it''s on; continuously having the patient waiting in distress for them to care enough to respond. I just described ONE example of what I witnessed happened when my Aunt rang for help!! She''s a vegetarian and they can''t grasp the concept and would repeatedly send her meat. I personally provided them a list of things she doesn''t like and does like more times than I can''t count. She''s 98 years old and she has her right mind and can tell them what she wants. Sometimes they get it right but often times NOT!! They have lost her hearing aids that were personally purchased not government supplied. There''s so much more I could say but I''ll stop here with this. I have zero faith in Scottish Pines and feel it could improve on ALL LEVELS!!

I was a resident in the facility for almost a month. In my stay there l was without my clothes to wear after sending them to the laundry. I signed myself out on August 25, 2020. I had a scheduled MRI at Scotland Health upon my return the EMT returned me to quarantine. I had not been given the courtesy of being informed by the nurse or staff in charge. With that being said l was assigned to a room with deplorable conditions; floor appeared to have urine on it and very filthy in other to my understanding each room is to be deep cleaned before assigning a resident to it. This was not the case. No resident should be subjected to conditions with the Covid outbreak.

I wish I could go lower than one star. My Aunt is a patient there - everyday she lies in bed day in and out begging for staff to get her up. She is not being treated with dignity and respect. This evening a family member called the front desk asking for someone to come and put her oxygen back on her - for TWO hours she stood at her window - 68 degrees out and dark and continuously called and her request were not honored until she stated she was taking pictures from the window of her mothers positioning and reminded the person whom answered the call that her phone had the exact time she initially called and no one is helping. Every weekend there is limited staffing - every weekend! She is in quarantined and they treat her as if she is thrown away! There is NO respect - no dignity being shown to her - family is not allowed there and some of the employees such as the ones working this evening do NOT CARE- the complaints go unresolved so therefore the ADMINISTRATION DOES NOT CARE.
