Walked in just looking for a place that I might place my husband who suffers from dementia. The first thing I noticed upon walking thru the door was the smell of the food. It was divine, as you would expect, from an authentic chef prepared meal. Walked up to the concierge and saw my name welcoming me for a visit. I was immediately greeted by the residential sales person. I explained my situation with my husband and that I was unable to provide the mental stimulation that he needed to live his best life. They offered a tour of the whole facility and I met most of the people who work here. My husband doesn’t have many physical needs. His needs are mostly mental stimulation and I felt that Sunrise would be a perfect fit for him. They offer some type of mental and/or physical activity for every level of care. I had been contemplating this type of move for about 3 years. Every time I thought about it, my heart would break into a thousand pieces. The day I left him here, I thought I would breakdown but left with a smile on my face. My husband was happy and content. The caregivers are the most gentle, kind and dedicated group of people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, the food is just delicious and we could not be happier. And most of all, I feel like my husband has actually become more engaged in his everyday life.

Sunrise of Haverford is an excellent facility with a caring staff and a beautiful physical plant. There are fun activities and many opportunities for residents to make friends. Sunrise provided a safe environment during the pandemic for which we are very grateful. I heartily recommend it.
The staff is really awesome here, great with my family. They are trying their best to keep the residents healthy, safe and also connected during covid-19. The staff makes us feel comfortable and they are keeping us in the loop about things. Beautiful place too! Thank you to the staff for all you do...

To anyone considering sending your loved ones here please look elsewhere. My mom was here until I began to see the handwriting on the wall and what goes on behind the scenes. I can honestly say it was the biggest mistake of my life. The best thing I did was taking her out of there. My only regret was not doing it sooner. It is the worst facility ever and needs to be shut down by the state. The only reason I gave it one star is to enable me to write this review. If not for that I would give it zero stars which is what this facility truly deserves.
