Let me first say that the staff is amazing and friendly. Each and everyone of them. Now here it goes. This facility is extremely dark, dirty, unkept, and the food is not suitable for an animal. When you walk in, you are greeted with a bunch of residents that seemingly never moved from those chairs and have asked me on several occasions if I could take them with me. The elevator broke, and there were residence stuck in the elevator, for God knows how long in the heat, and now that elevator is boarded up with particleboard and caution tape with an old table in front of it. The elevator that’s in use now has a sticky old tile floor with drips and stains, which aren’t as bad as the stains up and down all the dark hallways. There are absolutely no activities except for the “walkabout“ where are your loved? One gets to walk around the dining room tables for a bit. I have witnessed residents blowing their noses in the cloth napkins at dinner, and those napkins are all stained. I have witnessed several of the residents who were in wheelchairs, trying to push through emergency doors to get back to their room and we’re unable to do so. Sadly, they all sat there in a group half asleep, waiting for some help. I also witnessed a resident in the front lobby , who was having some sort of medical issue and was foaming at the mouth with no aids in sight. The furniture is rickety and old. It resembles an old warehouse with squatters . The walls and chair rails are all chipped and dirty. Basically, the place is just filthy and unfit to House, the elderly. If the state was to walk in to Saint Martha’s, it would be shut down immediately. It’s sad that in our country these places exist. I generally do not write reviews, and I also know that sometimes businesses go through growing pains, however, I also know a big problem when I see it. I would be surprised if Saint Martha’s remains open another month. I ask that the administrators at Saint Martha’s not respond to my review. There is nothing that can be done or make your facility any better until it is shut down, totally ripped apart and rebuilt.

If I could give this place a zero, I would! My grandmother has been here for 4 years and unfortunately has been the worst place for her ever. They do not have emergency protocol, and if they do they do not follow them. My grandma has had two health emergencies so far while staying here, and if it weren’t for her having her own phone and calling her family for help, she may not be here today!! Their food is also absolutely horrific. The dinner meals are inedible. It is so sad. My grandma is still 100% with it and her and her senior friends try to raise their voices and concerns about things and the administration does absolutely NOTHING about it. They could care less and act as if the seniors do not matter. They are just worried about keeping their business going and that is it. Save your loved ones and DO NOT let them live in this facility.

If I could give this place negative review I would. This place is horrible. My grandma has been living here for 4 years, if I had the means to move her out I would. The food is inedible, and they have no concerns for their residents. For years they have complained about their food at their monthly meetings, nothing has changed, and my grandma has had two emergencies now and the way they were handled is unacceptable. Just recently my grandma was stuck in the elevator for 40 minutes without emergency services being called! 40 minutes! And the only reason they were called is because I called and embraced they called 911. Please do not move your loved ones here. It is horrible.
