Visited a neighbor who resided here. The facility offers many activities and looks clean

We admitted my 90 year old father to The Springs last November after he fell and broke his shoulder. He receives excellent care from a wonderful and very caring staff. He has dementia and the staff always treats him with kindness, patience, and dignity. Dad has grown fond of the staff and even remembers their names. The Springs is always clean and dad''s room is neat and tidy. They are well staffed and everyone is very attentive to the residents. It is difficult to have a loved one that needs full time skilled nursing, but my family has peace of mind because Dad is so well taken care of at The Springs.

My mother was in there for 3 days after a stay in the hospital and we couldn''t get her out of there fast enough. They don''t answer her questions, the staff is very unresponsive and hard to get ahold of on the units (besides Charles). The food was terrible, the equipment is old and sounds/looks like it is going to fall apart, they do very minimal therapy for being a "rehab facility" and she had 2 instances where she almost fell off the bed and since no one responded to her call light had to yell for about 20 minutes until someone came in even though she could see staff walking by her room. The only way anyone responds is when I have to call (when I can actually get ahold of someone on the units to get any answers). Definitely do not recommend and will never use this facility again.

I would like to give this review as positive feedback for exceptional service to Charles and Ana at admissions. I would like to say from the beginning, Charles has been very responsive and has kept me abreast of all of the developments regarding my father, Ted Burch. He has texted me and called me directly to politely and compassionately keep me informed of what’s going on with my father. I really believe he cares about his patience, and it shows the way he communicates to me and explains everything that is going on at the facility. I will say he is one of the best workers you have at the springs skilled nursing facility. I will also like to give some recognition to Ana in the admissions office. I have to say I was really impressed with how efficient and detail oriented she was when it comes to providing the records and knowing everything that’s going on at The Springs nursing facility. I think she has done an excellent job, coordinating with me all of the specialist at the nursing facility, who have all been really good as well. I would like to give a specific example yesterday, Tuesday March 5 I was at the facility and I interacted with her several times and she was extremely helpful the entire day, helping me coordinate and get all of the information to the new facility where I will be moving my father. I was just really impressed with how organized she was and how much knowledge she had of the nursing home system, and process of accepting and moving patients to outside facilities. I really felt and believe she had my father‘s best interest in mind when she was working with me and I think she is also one of the best workers at the springs nursing facility.

Warm, professional staff. My husband receives the finest most loving care at The Springs. I recommend it highly.
