I wish I could give this place no stars. I purposefully waited until my grief and anger dissipated somewhat before leaving a review. Now it’s time. Please heed my warning. Our father was brought here based on the website and pictures and an initial interview with management/caregivers. The negative reviews were essentially explained away as disgruntled family members that dropped their family members off and didn’t return until weeks later when rehabilitation was complete. Having never dealt with nor any knowledge of a rehabilitative environment they made it sound perfectly logical. However, we quickly realized just how skewed those opinions and explanations were. There was a family member there to visit my father EVERY SINGLE DAY with the exception of treacherous roads and icy conditions. As you know, that is not very many days here in Memphis. From the very beginning we noticed some of his belongings were disappearing. Clothing, extra blankets that we brought from home, his glasses. Those were all items and truly insignificant. It was when we noticed his care quickly declining that we decided to take action. My dad was a very slender man and was always cold. We would frequently find him soiled/dirty. My Mom walked in to a freezing cold room one day to find him with no covers and shivering uncontrollably. Upon investigation, she discovered that someone had opened the window in his room. It was the dead of winter. That was it!! We immediately removed him from the premises and brought him home. This place will be a decision laced with regret for my family and I for the rest of our lives. DO NOT under any circumstances take someone that you love here. Heed my warning!!!

DO NOT , I REPEAT, DO NOT place your loved one at this place. My mom is a retired RN who has worked in Nursing homes/ Rehab Centers and I am a Masters Level Social Worker who has worked with numerous Nursing homes/Rehab Centers in my career throughout the country. I am surprised they are able to hold a license! My mom went there to get Rehab and it was an absolute nightmare from the minute she arrived. Emergency Call button didn''t work x 3 days. She didn''t get a bath for 4 days. Director of Nursing Never returned my call. Staff repeatedly ignored her request for help and thru off attitude to her. She was scared to complain in fear of retaliation. Mom was discharged & her meds were not called in. She''s now at home without her blood clot meds nor pain relief meds she was on. So sad she was begging to leave and felt trapped w/ no help. Unfortunately I live out of state and wasn''t able to be there. Next step we''re calling the state and an attorney. Again, DO NOT go to this horrible place!

This place is horrible. Do not take your love ones here if you care anything about them. The staff''s bedside manner is awful. Their attitudes are horrible. They act as if you''re bothering them when being asked for assistance. My mother was here for almost three weeks and it was a nightmare. They would ignore a patients request for assistance. Leave patients with feces on them and wait up to an hour and half to come change them. Instead of helping my mother to the restroom they would tell her you have on a diaper just use it in the diaper because they''re too lazy or just don''t want to come and help. They did not follow the proper diet restrictions that we put in as a request on 2 different occasions. Just giving her whatever they wanted to. The food is horrible. I wouldn''t feed it to my dog. They switched up my mother''s medication without notifying us. She hadn''t eaten in 4 days because she was so nauseated and stomach pains but they would continue to give her medicines with no nausea medicine. No one monitors their food intake because if they did someone would have known she hadn''t eaten in 4 days. The final straw was when they moved my mother from a single room to a room with a roommate. This person (the roommate) had a horrible cough from the day my mother got in the room and we kept telling them they need to check on her because something was wrong. But she was ignored. My mother tested positive for Covid a few days after moving to this room and we were told that she was moved into a room with a woman that had Covid 3 days prior and staff was aware per a Nurse at the facility. My mother wasn''t breathing right and oxygen was very low. We had to notify the staff there was an issue with my mother''s breathing. If we weren''t there, there is no telling what could have happened. All the staff do is complain about how they hate their job talk loud in the hallways about personal issues. Talking on their phones watching movies in the activity room all while ignoring the patients. We bought all of these concerns to management and some had very poor attitudes as well. So if the managements attitude is horrible I guess you can''t expect much from the staff. We were also lied to by management that the roommate didn''t test positive for Covid when clearly she did because they had my mother and the roommate in the same Covid isolation room. My mother is no longer there but I''m writing this in hopes of helping someone else. Because there are a lot of patients there that have no one to speak up for them. I pray that they fix their broken system before it''s too late!!

Decided on this place for our mother’s rehabilitation after spinal surgery based on the good reviews. Well, our brief experience with this place was horrible. Our mother was discharged from the hospital and transported here on 6/17. On 6/18 she was basically kicked out because they said she had tested positive for covid after a month in the hospital. Before she left the had a bowel movement in her diaper as she didn’t have good function due to the spinal surgery and my sister basically had to force them to change her because she was sitting in it. They didn’t wait for a proper transport to be available and instead called 911 to transport her, what a joke! She then spent 2 days in the hospital ER area only because she came in via 91- emergency. I went up there this morning to retrieve my mothers clothes and a nurse came out and told me “I can’t just pop up there anytime I want to” and that I needed to come back another day because there’s 3 people ahead of me waiting to get their loved ones clothes. This place is a joke l.
