This is an awful place. They are understaffed so call buttons go unanswered for 20 mins to an hour. They abuse the residents and don''t make a police report. If you don''t want to work in the healthcare field find another job. If you are understaffed you should not be accepting new patients.

I worked here as a Housekeeper and Laundress for about 3 months and I will never work there again. I would not advise putting your loved ones here not because the service may be bad but because the RESIDENTS are rude and horrible. They have fun games like bingo every week and I wanted to try to be the person who says the numbers and some of the residents told me to leave and quit trying. They practically booed me out of the room. I have epilepsy and I was getting dizzy one day so I was getting behind on the laundry because it was hot in the laundry room and 3 nurse aids came in the room screaming at me telling me I need to hurry up, if I can''t do my job I should just leave. The residents need their stuff, etc. It''s just everything was done being washed and I was just drying and folding everything at that point. All they had to do was ask. They just started coming at me.

Absolutely trash of a place. First, they forgot to administer medicine to my grandmother so she had to miss out on physical therapy sessions because she was in too much pain, after she tried to remind them, Twice! The whole reason she was there!! Second, she woke up one morning and was having a heart attack so she tried to call the nurses and nobody answered. She finally used her cell phone to call her son and he called an ambulance for her. Once the EMT arrived he was also upset with how they handled the situation and all the lady said was “we were assessing the situation, we had it under control” They did not have it under control in the slightest. My grandmother needed to go to the hospital not sit there and “access” what to do with her. She needed prompt medical attention. Do not send a loved one here, they do not care in the slightest about the care they are giving and will not listen or acknowledge the patient when they call them for aid. My grandmother never complains about anything, she’s the nicest lady ever, but she was begging us to move her to a different facility after the first night, and we tried but had no other options at the time. I really wish we could have so she would have been in better hands when she had her heart attack. Terrible place.

Not sure I should even give a star, but unfortunately that''s the only way I can leave a review. This "facility" could possibly be the worst place you send your loved one to live or the worst place you could work. If you want to get yelled at in FRONT of the residents and degraded, this job is for you. If you want to get yelled at by a nurse, this job is for you. They don''t care if all the aides call in. They refuse to help. They will check your residents before you leave and verify they are clean and then write you up for leaving "a mess". Your memaw and papa are not being taken care of. State really needs to make an appearance and shut this facility down.
