The worker who got fired because she showed up late - well, that''s how things work in the real world. The others who gave 1 star but didn''t explain why, well, I discount you and your opinions. My 100 yr old mom has been there for 5 years and she has gotten very good care. They are understaffed now because of post-pandemic staffing issues but that''s not their fault and St Anne''s is doing the best they can under the circumstances. My 100 year old mother spent her last 5 years at St. Anne Home. This is an excellent facility in spite of pandemic issues and post-pandemic staffing issues. Nothing is perfect and no facility is perfect but St. Anne’s is about as close to perfect as one can get. I highly recommend St. Anne Home

I worked at St.Anne for 9 years and never had been late nor really called off but in June I left early because of a work situation and most people there are always late or not showing up so I thought nothing of it but after 9 years I was fired from here but that doesn’t bother me anymore. What frustrated me the most I worked in laundry 2nd shift had to do most of the work while daylight hardly had to do anything 2nd shift had to deliver plus do pickups wash the clothes dry them sort them and most of the time 2nd shift was by themselves while day light had more then one person working and daylight didn’t have to deliver some on daylight didn’t have to do pick ups and the work load was so unfair.

Our family would strongly recommend against using this facility. Our Mother, 89, had just been released from the hospital after falling hitting her head and having bleeding on the brain. The social worker on her case approved her for Medicare coverage in an assisted care facility for three weeks. She ended up in St Anne’s home. For four days they were giving her only Tylenol for pain when on her charts it was clear she was to have a narcotic pain medication due to massive bone degradation. After ten days they announced that they were going to take her off Medicare because she was non-compliant and that she would be responsible for a $9000.00/month fee. Imagine you just had a brain injury at 89 and you are in a strange environment and not able to eat properly. You would likely be non-compliant as well. We asked that she would be declare eligible for Hospice care which was denied by St Anne’s staff. Her care was so poor that we could not get her out of the facility fast enough. Days later an independent evaluation by a doctor approved our mother for hospice care, showing again the lack of caring and competence at St Anne’s home. If food came when my brother was there, he was able to feed her some and convince her to eat something. A few of the attendants did give her more attention around the food issues but the majority of time that was not the case. From what I could see, the philosophy & business approach was to keep patients compliant through drugs to try to minimize the effort staff had to put forth. It was obvious that St. Anne''s did not have enough staff to provide proper care for the patients.
