Don’t place your loved ones @ this facility. I promise, you will thank me later! Also, there are 2 employees here (females) who are related that you may think are great but in reality, they are the biggest problems @ this facility. 🙂

My stepmom has been at Walden View for years. This is her home and she is happy here. They have everything she needs. As the years have gone by she has needed extra care which they provide. They have a beauty salon and take her on a regular basis to have her hair done. Her laundry is taken care of. She loves the food. Staff is great. If you have a problem or your loved one is sick they really step in to help. My family is very happy that we chose Walden View. I cant think of anything to complain about so I give 5 stars.

I do not understand this place. My relative was not getting her meds to her, oh yes they blamed it on the pharmacies. Bull, there was a week or m ore that went by that nothing was registered in their med tech book to give her medicines. I am very frustrated with Waldens View and especially if they do not know when you are coming that really throws them off. The wash we pay to get done every Sunday and that's not being done either. Everytime I go in there her items are not there. They mix every thing up. How hard is it to put laundry in and take it back up to room . Also, another main problem is the turnovers of staff and no wander why it is like it is. Both receptionist that were there were let go and now its hit or miss if someone answers phones. Piss poor management and when new management came in we were supposed to meet them. No one is ever around. They really need to get it together there and I also read a resident died of Covid complications there in January 2021. Why we as loved ones ever notified. I just like how this place is heading, revamp the whole place and start over. My next step is he BBB

Just wanted to alert others who might be looking to move their loved ones into an assisted living place to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! My mom had to be moved quickly because her other place she lived was closing within 30 days. We found this place and thought it looked nice. She was guaranteed a private room, however, when she finally moved in Dec. 16, she had a roommate. Died from COVID Jan. 10. Their staff does not return calls or even answer the phone - very poor personnel, from their administrator down to their concierge.

From everything I have seen, the community is always clean. There are always staff around. They are very responsive to requests regarding the safety and cleanliness of the community and residents. Everyone the staff sees, they greet by first name; I have never seen a frown! The care is superb; they are very responsive to care requests as well. I once reported a fall in regards to another resident, and the staff immediately went and checked on them to make sure they were ok. They are all wonderful. During the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuing community lock down, they have done a great job with keeping the residents safe and also entertained. The activities director will personally visit with each resident and interact with them in a stimulating way. They even bought an iPad for the residents to use to FaceTime and let each family to talk with their loved one. They are even going to be setting up a tent outside so that the residents can see their families in person, while still remaining safe.
