We went to see Royal Bellingham Luxury Retire. It's assisted living, and the tour was very good. I was very happy with everything, like the services. The facilities are in very good condition and it is very clean. It's a very pleasant environment. The rooms were clean, and it appears to me that the bathrooms were ADA compliant. The rooms were what would be expected for a bachelor-type apartment. They're very clean too. They offer three meals a day, in your room or in the dining room. They have a nurse on duty. They include linen and towel service, they do laundry once a week, and they do housekeeping for the apartments. They have medical transportation within ten miles. They have a doctor who comes in and visits if you want that service. They have activities and the grounds are very well maintained. I talked to some residents very briefly, and they all seemed happy and friendly. There's more than one, so they must be happy because they were all very friendly when we walked in, and they were engaging my mother. My impression was that the residents would be happy if they were all smiling and everything. I've got a good impression as far as that goes. The dining room was closed at that time. It looks like they were prepping for the next meal. They closed the dining room because of COVID, so apparently they're delivering to rooms right now. People were sitting in the dining room, though, just to get out of their room or whatever.

My mother is at Royal Bellingham Luxury Retire. It met all of my mother's needs and the rooms were very nice and large. The director there was very welcoming. It was very clean. When COVID is over it has a lot of social activities. It met her medical needs, too. It is very sunny and bright. We talked about what it was going to cost for her to live there, and once it was decided what level of care she needed, the price won't ever increase, even if her needs increase. The staff has been very helpful. Because of COVID they do not have any activities right now, but they will be getting their vaccines this week.
