My visit to Arc Facility at Richman went fine but there was no vacancy there. The living atmosphere was very decent, it was nice. I saw two nursing staff members that were there, there was also a lady who gave the tour and assisted us. The people seemed to be pretty calm, they were just watching TV. I saw the medical beds inside the rooms, some of them share rooms, but most of the residents weren't in their rooms. The facility is very homey and very warm, and I can see that the level of care was consistent. The staff that I saw said hello and they greeted me. They were frying food when we were there, we didn't try anything but we smelled it.

Arc Facility at Richman is fantastic. The caregivers are very good, and the owner is very available to talk to whenever I need to talk to him. My mom is currently on hospice so she has a nurse there with her 24 hours a day. She likes the food even though she's not eating very much now. They provide activities for the residents even though she's not able to participate at this time. The staff members are wonderful. The place itself is an older home, but it's warm and inviting, and she has her own room. I have seen volunteers there playing with the other residents, they have comfortable chairs, and they also watch TV.
