I’m Keith Mitchell’s POA. He was discharged June 28th. The nursing home received payment for July & they shouldn’t have. He still has not received his refund check for that July payment!!! They will not remove their banking information for his check to be deposited into his account so he also has not received his August check!!!!! The billing rep says she’s working on it, ( since June 30th) but doesn’t return voicemails & gives you the run around. I filled a complaint at the Genesis Headquarters 2 weeks ago, but I don’t think it changed anything. I‘VE told them he has rent due, etc. , but I guess it doesn’t matter!!!! I’ve called agencies for him to receive services and have been told he is not showing as discharged from the nursing home!!!!!!!!!! Left another voicemail about that and no response! Beware!!!!! Beware!!!! Beware!!!!!!

A lot of the nurses are apathetic without concern for the helpless residents. The food is less than desirable. Doors are locked and your not allowed to go outside but 3 times a day with staff supervision. The place is a death camp. No mental health provider and believe me, there are a lot of depressed residents there. A few employees care about the residents but not many. Some nurses get angry only because you ask for your prescribed medication. Bathrooms are to small for handicapped which most at this facility are.

I try to look at the positive but there is nothing positive to look at honestly. The condition of the toilet was terrible it wouldnt even flash and the trashbin was all full, they never threw it away. The toilet water was full and it stinked a lot. And the patient we visited they never bathed him and went with the excuse he wouldnt let them because he Turned "agressive".
