My wife has been at Maidencreek Place for many months due to nerve damage to her lower legs. While she would rather be at home, she has said many times that if she had to be elsewhere, Maidencreek is the best. The staff is kind and caring, the food is very good and there are many activities for residents including those in wheelchairs. They will provide care for various levels of need and respond quickly when called. The overall atmosphere at Maidencreek Place is uplifting. RJK

I was once an employee here and in the short time I worked at Maidencreek I came to see how horrible they treat the residents & how unprofessional they are. They find bed bugs almost everyday. The amount of drama and immaturity in this place is ridiculous, employees about to fight in front of the residents ! They are incredibly cheap ! They don’t provide anything to the residents anymore since the new company took over and still charge them more ! Talk behind the residents back & are running out of gloves. Cutting everyone’s hours back because they can’t afford it. Residents threatening to leave everyday. It’s a complete mess of a place and if you’re thinking of bringing a family member here just don’t. That company is going down hill fast and I don’t see it lasting much longer. _____________________________________________ Hi Katie, I appreciate it but no thank you. If I had any questions or concerns I would’ve already contacted them myself. Instead of responding to reviews you should be getting that mess of a company together and order some gloves and wipes ! Be more concerned about the fact that you’re cutting your full time workers hours by 2 full days which leaves your full timers with 64 hours a week. But still hiring more people ? How can you even afford that if you’re cutting everyone’s hours & budgets ? How can you not even afford bingo nights 3x a week but charge the residents more ? It just doesn’t add up Katie. When I was working for this company all the residents loved me and they’d only have good things to say about me. I was one of the only people there that actually cared for them. If anything I’m overjoyed I left that mess when I did. No paid holidays, resident mistreatment, & unprofessionalism isn’t worth my time. The E.D got fired for yelling at an employee in front of the residents and family. And when I left there was no one in that position so I don’t recall a Derek “terminating “ me, so what are you even on about ? Regardless of it this review isn’t being left to bash or hurt anyone. I just wanted to bring awareness to the unknowing people investing their time and money not realizing what type of place they are leaving their family members.

Making my first year employed at maiden creek & have never experienced a job as great as this. Management and higher ups are proactive and always actively looking to see how they can enhance the company. Residents are loving and kind . Supervisors are reasonable and understanding . Residents become family and staff becomes work family . A lot of empathy and kindness from everyone . I have been in different fields of healthcare from behavioral health to pharmacy and my most liked is here at maiden creek place. When we visit Mom, she always complains about the length of time she waits while needing assistance getting out of bed, or in/off toilet, etc. There seems to be inconsistencies with the quality of staff between shifts/weekends. Almost every time we visit on the weekend, the white Chevy Impala staff car is parked in one of the two handicapped spaces in front of the main entrance. Complaints to management have not resulted in any change in this practice.
