Our mother, Mary B., was discharged yesterday after having spent three months in memory care rehab following a broken hip. The progress she made while in Glen Ridge was remarkable. The staff was attentive, patient, and caring and made sure all her needs were met. They joked with her and made her stay more fun. She loved the food (and the chef!). He even came off his break to tell her goodbye before she left. Our family is grateful for everyone and the care they gave.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you put anyone you care about in the "care" of this organization!!!!! They are extremely incompetent and dangerous. The staff is extremely rude and some quite hateful towards the residents ( in fairness we did meet 2 employees that were exceptional Mike and Rachel however besides that it is horrible) Several times they would not bring our loved one breakfast or lunch so we actually had to hire an outside organization just to sit in his room as advocates for him when family couldn''t be there. We actually had a meeting with the CEO Ryan Green , the executive director marty , rose and kelly ( all key staff members) hoping they would help but they did NOT. Our loved one was not cared for in any sense of the word. He was left laying in his own feces for the majority of the day, he developed a UTI because of the lack of care, several times we would have to chase down his breakfast lunch or dinner because he was either forgotten about or simply ignored just to name a few examples Believe me there are PLENTY more! After having to send him to the ER as a result of their neglect we made the move to get him into a better home , we contacted the staff about his personal belongings on that Friday afternoon and we were told to come by and pick them up on Saturday Morning but when the family arrived OF COURSE they hadn''t lifted a finger yet so they told the family member to come back on Monday to pick up his boxed up belongings when the family member arrived all of his belongings were just thrown into a trash bag and handed off to the family member which in my opinion is quite fitting because they treated my loved one like trash so why not treat his personal effects pictures , clock and all other items like trash. If you HATE the person that is need of care THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU !! However if you have any compassion at all for your loved one avoid this hell hole at all cost ! Take warning and read the negative reviews on this thread they are horrible and quite REAL.

My mother has been a resident at Glen Ridge several times for Rehabilitation, following some acute clinical events. She is now at her home and doing very well. All of the staff are so very caring and supportive - and were with each stay. She loved the food and the variety she could select from the menu. My brother and I both enjoyed meals with her and agree! They go the extra mile and made her feel special. Care and encouragement go a long way when mom needed more help than we could give her.
