My mother liked Provident Crossings Retirement Resort. It was very nice. All the guests were friendly and the coordinator was very thorough with the tour. I liked all of the activities. It was just very clean and uplifting, not like some other places that you go into, and are kind of depressing. Everybody seemed happy. They have transportation. They have guestrooms for your family to stay in if they come to visit you. They have arts and crafts, a nice theater, a physical therapy room, and a puzzle room. I like that the mailboxes are right there in the main lobby. There's always somebody on duty at the concierge desk. It's very secure. All the doors are locked from the outside. You can get out, but you can't get back in. You have to go back around to the front door to get back in. During the tour, everyone that we encountered introduced themselves and was very nice. We met with the housekeeping staff. The chef that was onsite came out and introduced himself and said if mom had any particular food needs or whatever, he would take care of it. We had lunch and it was very good. It was what they were serving the guests that day and it was very good and very nutritious.

Provident Crossings Retirement Resort was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better place for mom. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond. The activities were outstanding. The meals were outstanding. Cleanliness was outstanding. Everything was just fabulous. There were several meal options for each meal from which to choose and they were healthy, well-proportioned, and very, very good. They had a library, a chapel, a game room, an outdoor area for recreation, and a movie theater. For a few years, it was wonderful. Unfortunately, it got flooded. So they're renovating the movie theater and lounge area.

The people here at Provident Crossings Retirement Resort are awesome. They go out of their way to help you. If I needed something, they're there in seconds. They go out three times a week and take you shopping and they play bingo two or three times a week. They also have an arts and crafts thing upstairs. The food is just so bad and it's cafeteria-style. You have to stand in line and that makes it hard when you can't walk.

The tour at Provident Crossings Retirement Resort was very nice. The facility was really clean. They had very nice accommodations and several different floor plans. They had facilities for community gatherings. They had a beautiful restaurant downstairs, a theater, a library, and some common areas where you could sit and read a book or talk with someone. I was very impressed. The rooms were small, but they were definitely adequate. The staff members were very nice and friendly. The living atmosphere was very upbeat. The people seemed happy to be there. Everything was pretty modern and very well maintained.

Overall I am pleased with Provident Crossings. I did move to a smaller apartment but they are still charging me about the same price. I was charged another administrative fee to move from the 2nd floor to the first as well so that was pretty expensive. It is a clean facility and the people have all been very friendly, we will get to meet more residents once we get all settled in. The maintenance guy is absolutely amazing and very on top of things.
