I went to look at Spring Mill Senior Living. It felt like you were walking into your home. The staff was very friendly and nice. Everyone there seemed happy. It was not your standard, run-of-the-mill nursing home. It had the feel of someplace that you would feel comfortable putting your parents. They have lots of things they can do. They have libraries, daily arts and crafts, and exercise. It would be like putting yourself on a cruise ship on vacation. The rooms were a nice size. I can't say anything bad or disappointing about the whole presentation. I think it was a very friendly, warm, and open atmosphere.

What we really liked about Spring Mill is the overall look of the place - it is very nice right when you walk in, the lobby is beautiful there is a big fireplace and a very outdoor space that is very nice looking. The dining hall in the main part of the community was very nice, there is a little community gathering room for the residents. The security was really good for when you wanted to come and go. Just like everyone else they were experiencing staffing issues so something like the cleanliness/house keeping, the meals and laundry was lacking in consistency. Also sometimes on the memory care side where our loved one was, we would ask them for different meal options since the food was not very diverse and it would not always happen.
