I am sad to say I would not put a family member here!!! My mother lived here since 6/2022. She was in Legacy (The dementia Unit) In the beginning when it was owned by different owners and the place was called, The Landing with Monica who ran things very nicely. Unfortunately about 6 months ago in the fall of 2023, new owners took over calling it Morningside house. The last 6 months got so bad. Every time I went I found Feces all over the bathroom. On the floor, all over the toilet my mother’s shoes socks. Her sheets were not changed. Trash on the rug in the common area of the dementia unit and it started to smell like strong urine and it was never like that with the 1st owners. I actually found a green molding sandwich in my mom’s room. My cousins were sending me pictures of the bathroom with feces. I spoke with Kellee the manager 3 times. She lied to me. The workers told me the cleaning people quit and she said that wasn’t true but then more worker told me she lied. I ended up making an appointment to move my mother somewhere else and the woman at the new facility confirmed that 5 other people from Morningside just moved to their facility where I was going to move my mom. Unfortunately the day before my appointment my mother had a stroke and passed away. The nurse did not even call me right away when my mother was sent in the ambulance. I am moms POA. She arrived & was admitted to Phoenixville hospital at 9:50AM and Morningside never called me until 10:10AM! A massive stroke time which is time crucial. I apologize for the disgusting pictures but I wanted to make it clear the conditions she was living in and why I was planning on moving her. I also had someone else I knew who had the same problem here.

I would have given it six stars if possible. Everyone involved from initial tour to move-in, and after have been superb. We were treated with friendliness like family, professionalism, courtesy and respect. Lindsay, backed up by Audrey, answered all our e-mails in timely fashion with information requested. Gale was transferring from a poor short-term rehab. Melissa went above and beyond to do her initial assessment, coming in on her day off and her birthday to expedite transfer. Severe snowstorm in Delaware threatened transfer, but Morningside volunteered a driver to go down and pick her up if I was uncomfortable driving. I was ok driving, but greatly appreciated the backup plan. Kellee completed the check-in procedure with Gale, and made her feel welcome and at ease with all the paperwork. Treatment by everyone since check-in has continued to be excellent. I could go on and on, but I just wanted public to know how pleased we are with Morningside House. Highly recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our visits to Morningside House. Staff was always incredibly welcoming, and it was clear they take great care in ensuring the well-being and happiness of its residents. There were often events or entertainment happening when we were there. We observed engaged residents, and staff who were super engaged with the people. It''s clear that residents are well-cared for. Furthermore, the process of transitioning a loved one into Morningside was made as simple as possible, and also met with great understanding and empathy - especially by Audrey, who is a shining star in terms of her expertise, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile to answer questions, provide information, and ensure families feel at ease. We are so thankful.

Community/activities: My mom recently moved in and is really happy with the community here. The staff are very welcoming and take a genuine interest in the residents, and the residents seem happy (some even told us they left other communities to come here and are glad they did). There are a lot of activities to choose from, and the activities team is top-notch. The staff have also been very welcoming and friendly towards our extended family - and other families we''ve seen there - and the place already feels like "Mom''s place" to us. Meals: Mom likes the food, and I''ve had maybe 7 or 8 (?) meals here so far, and the food was great every time. And the servers are polite and patient with their elderly diners. Logistics, etc: The move-in process was much easier than what we were facing elsewhere, and things moved very quickly, which is what we needed. Audrey really worked with us to make sure we knew exactly what we needed to do when (and helped us prioritize said tasks so things could move smoothly). Overall, we''ve found all staff to be approachable and easy to work with. So happy Mom is here.

Read moreOur family had an in person tour with The Landing of Collegeville and it is like a resort! It was unbelievable! It was beautiful but it just did not have that homey feeling like [community name removed] that we were looking for, for our love done. However the tour experience was great!
