We have the best staff! There was constant coverage, even by the teenage servers during our 10 days of snow and ice. Kudos to each of them.

I have lived at Parkrose Chateau since September of 2022. I love how the building is so bright. The 3 story atrium has ample windows that cast natural light through the whole entryway. There are a variety of floor plans and my one bedroom has large windows all across the exterior of the bedroom and living room to give loads of natural lighting. The meals rarely dissapoint because there are multiple choices at meals. A "heart healthy " choice is available at the two main meals (dinner and supper) for the many of us who have to watch our salt intake. The staff make holidays special with the marvelous food and decorations. What really makes this place wonderful is the people. Most of the residents are very friendly and you will find yourself making lasting friends if you are willing to participate. I say this with assurance because my wife ended up having to go through hospice here. Mary and Amy (assistant and general managers) were so sensitive, supportive and respectful during that time. Their care and sensitivity, as well as their can-do attitude in the face of every imagineable challenge will not ever be forgotten by me. It has been a pleasure getting to know the residents. Each one has so many amazing life stories. This is a great place for people who are ready for more convenience in life (meal prep, housecleaning etc.) but still get around independently.

This place is godawful, Amy the owner and the head chef treat there employees/ residents like garbage, Amy and the head chef allow the kitchen to be in poor cleanliness condition, walk in pantry has water dripping all over the food they serve there residents, the walk in cooler doesn''t keep cool enough, and the sad thing is they still store food in there and it''s getting people sick theres rat feces all over the equipment the hot milk containers have rotten milk in them because they are not cleaned properly mold and grese all over the stove and fridge they don''t make fresh juice for the residents, they mix powder in a bucket and poor it into dirty containers with leftover juice in them I even seen Amy denying a resident a banana because it wasn''t part of breakfast, and she didn''t want to spend 2 minutes to go get him one, and on top of that Amy and the head chef like to make fun of residents behind there backs in the kitchen , calling the residents stinky, stupid, blind, retarded, ect ect, Amy has no business being a manager/ owner here for one big reason , she doesn''t care about your loved ones here, all they are is a paycheck to her, she''s 4 feet of pure greed and evil, take your loved ones somewhere else if possible, also the head chef can''t even cook correctly, he messed up cream of wheat 😄 even though there was instructions on the box, this company is pathetic, get out of here while you can, im calling the better business buro and OSHA as well in hopes these poor defenseless elderly people get the help they need because this place is nothing but elderly abuse/ neglect. All thanks to AMY the owner and the head chef

I went to Parkrose Chateau. Jim, the guy who I worked with, was super knowledgeable and it was the first place I went to. So he was able to educate me on assisted living versus independent living, etc.. And the layout of the location was very nice, very welcoming, and warm. The rooms are nice. I looked at a one-bedroom and it was fine. It was a type of location that doesn't have a kitchen, because obviously all the food was included. The dining area was all clean, very nice, and the menu looked good, so no issue there. It would not probably be a good fit for my stepdad, just because there was no kitchen.

I was very impressed with Parkrose Chateau. The gentleman who met me and greeted me was John. There were a lot of nice things about this place. It was light and airy and the facility was nice. I liked the layout, and I also liked the independent bungalows that they have there. There were some really nice features in that place that I hadn't seen anywhere else. They were pretty standard small apartments, one bedroom. It's kind of a cookie-cutter deal, they're all the same. They have a kind of one bedroom off of a living/dining room/kitchen combination off a central hall on 1 to 4 floors. The place was clean and bright. The dining room was very nice out there. It was open and it's kind of a pastoral scene out there. It's got lawns and there's some trees, and it's very nice.
