We toured Parker Place during our search for a facility for our loved one. We thought that this facility was pleasant, but more old fashioned in décor and spirit. We didn't care for the structured meals, but overall, it's a nice place too. Just not as updated.
We had a great tour with Parker Place. The facility was elegant and very nice, but the downfall was it was not assisted living, they only offered independent living and my loved one needed more care.

They have provided activities, to help with meeting others within the same age group. It's clean and friendly. My love done is still able to visit familiy members, without being confided to just the community. I would recommend to other families.

Parker place has had some turnover. We feel that while PP doesn't "kick" residents out when their level of care needs goes up, some residents should not be there and rather need to be in a place with a higher level of care. PP is not an assisted living or high care facility. If a resident wants to attend off site activities but isn't allowed because of cognitive skills, then that resident needs to be in a place other than a retirement community with limited assisted living help.
