Abuse of this elderly patient was evident throughout my cousins stay at this awful, rundown, understaffed, unsafe facility. She was left with soiled, wet briefs for hours on a regular basis. Her call button was removed and thrown on the floor in anger by the overnight shift leaving her helpless and vulnerable overnight. Food was delivered to a shelf across the room so she couldn’t reach it and food was also withheld. This was all within the 1st few days of admission until the family was able to transfer her out of this tortured situation. She left with bed sores and C-IFF!! DO NOT let your loved ones go to Hartwyck!!

Zero compassion. Zero personality. Made my mother feel so uncomfortable and out of place during her stay. Please use another facility if you can. Terrible staff.
Not a very pleasant place as well as some staff. My cell phone was taken by one of the employees as I left it at the front desk. I was frantically trying to find it. I asked an employee if she had seen my phone , she replied no. I asked the front desk receptionist to call my phone real quick and...
Not a very pleasant place as well as some staff. My cell phone was taken by one of the employees as I left it at the front desk. I was frantically trying to find it. I asked an employee if she had seen my phone , she replied no. I asked the front desk receptionist to call my phone real quick and that very employee that said she did not see it was walking down the hall fast and my phone started ringing...I said to her excuse me, I hear my phone ringing on your person. She replied oh I was trying to find out who''s it was, honey, I just told you it was mine, she then gave attitude trying to provoke an issue as I informed what could occur if you don''t give me my phone! As another incident while in a family meeting with a stroke victim where staff allowed another incident to occur where an almost fight with the individual almost occurred during that family meeting. In which they were supposed to call security. I just walked out during meeting with staff to avoid fighting where there are already very sick people. I refuse to go in that institution again!!!
