She moved in and has since been able to make new friends, new memories, and maintain as much independence as she can. After getting to know the Executive Director (Fran) and some of the staff, I decided that I would love to work and spend time helping our seniors make those memories. I have worked at the Palisades for two and a half years. This is a great place to work. I have watched Fran (the Executive Director), Sarah (the Director of Health Services), Ivory (the Assisted Living Director, and Marie (Not exactly sure of her title, because she is everywhere doing it all) have direct contact with the residents, whether it is cleaning toilets, changing them, or just sitting and talking with them. There is nothing they ask staff to do that they would not do themselves. I could not ask for a better leadership team. Leading by example.
