There is no stench when you walk in either which was huge for us. It has a more inviting and homey atmosphere to it, not institutional like so many others. I was able to bring my horse up there to visit with the residents. The outdoor space is wonderful. The staff were all great as well. I would highly recommend Bear Creek Senior Living.

Bear Creek Senior Living was fine. They're very diligent. Their care and their staff seemed to be very dedicated. The guy who toured me was pleasant and accommodating. He answered all my questions, but I felt like I was being pressured into committing right then and I did not like that. It's an old building. The layout and dining area were fine. The memory care rooms were typical, but it wasn't the cleanest place I've ever been to. It's got some age on it, but if I had to make a decision based on what I saw on the outside, there's no way I would ever have either one of my parents there. Some repairs needed to be made on the outside.
Read moreMy loved one's biggest complaint is the food. It's very bland, and even though they put out a menu, they're often out of things and rarely have what's on the menu. Other than that, regarding things like friendliness, cleanliness, and staff she's partially satisfied, although not completely.
