What a wonderful wonderful place! The building and property are clean and cheerful… the rooms were bright and comfortable… from the moment I arrived the staff was warm, inviting, and friendly! The receptionist was great… The tour with Jeania and Kiersten was thorough…and made me feel at ease...

I wrote a deposit check on the spot knowing Jeania would be working to help me get my brother placed in a room that fits his needs and helping us pick the right plan for our needs!

I feel so bad for the vulnerable residents here. The one star I gave was for them. I can tell you the workers don''t wash hands often and don''t use gloves in the kitchen while cutting and preparing fresh fruit, desserts and other food items. Several of the residents have complained of "not feeling well" after eating. Management staff are cruel and disrespectful behind closed doors. They use strong-arm methods, instead of healthy communication towards their employees. They asked a new employee on her third day to sign notarized paperwork as a witness that a resident had supposedly already signed (who wasn''t present at the signing) and of course she did so willingly having no idea what she was doing (but did so wanting to keep her job). A resident complained about being left in her room in bed for 3 days and no one noticed she was there. Other residents sit for hours waiting for help after calling for it. The list goes on and on. Please hesitate before leaving your loved ones in the care of this business. It is a Beautiful building and property, but don''t let that fool you.

ZERO STARS, Management staff are rude and turnover there is weekly. They only have one maybe 2 caregivers per shift, so residents are yelling for help for hours on end with no help. They have had a recent Resident taken to the hospital for bedsores. We are making a formal complaint as well. Response to Owner- No thank you. You do not take them seriously and terminate staff for speaking out. The way I have seen staff treated by the new manager Gina or Jena, whatever her name is, is sad. I understand she came from another location where she was almost fired, but saved by you. You also have multiple activities on the calendar which never happen and then you ask activities staff to "look busy" when new people walk through on tours.

5 stars in all areas! We chose Oswego Place initially because they had openings, they were flexible for tour and move in date and it was a Clean environment and friendly staff. The staff were accessible and accommodating to work with family member despite difficult situations. Communication was excellent. I would recommend Oswego Place to others.
