THIS HOSPITAL PUTS COVID PATIENTS IN ROOMS NEXT TO NON-COVID PATIENTS. THIS HOSPITAL DOES NOT SEPARATE COVID PATIENTS FROM OTHER PATIENTS. There is no separate wing for covid patients. My elderly and frail mother has a covid patient next to her room. In the past they separated covid patients in their own wing, but now they don''t. Covid is an AIRBORNE disease, one of the most contagious in history. It often kills elderly people, and this hospital is not protecting its patients from it! This is ridiculous and unconscionable, both medically and ethically. Patients are probably dying because of this policy. If you or your loved on has contracted covid while at O''Connor Hospital, please sue the hospital so that they change this policy.

Mom was taken in San Jose O’Connor emergency yesterday by EMS, EMT are kind and professional, they deserve 5 star rating. However, I would give one star for cleanness, the patient room looks dirty and old and saw some trash on the floor, suggest to replace the whole floor in white color and to replace curtain to sliding door. The nurse schedule management need to improve, can’t get a nurse for half an hour to assist disability mom to use restroom.Registration and door reception agents are helpful.
