The experience has been ok...initially when you go on the tours they make it sound like they have everything under the sun and they have people at your beck and call all the time. But when we have had to use the call button, it can take up to 20 minutes or more to receive help. There are not enough staff at all. Cleanliness seems to be adequate. Everyone we have encountered has been very nice. The quality of care has been great but the lack of availability of care has been awful. When she pushes the button, help rarely comes in a timely manner. There never seems to be enough employees at all for help. The meals are ok but they often say things like "homemade cookie" but they are clearly not homemade. They are always understaffed during meal time so it's hard to get service. The activities seem to be ok but our nana doesn't really participate in a lot of them. I think this is due to lack of staff so no one really lets her know about them or encourages her to go. I don't find the value to be a fantastic value for the cost. They promised a lot of stuff up front like rides to dr appts but it's incredibly difficult to schedule. Friendly staff, safe and clean community. Close proximity to shopping, doctors offices etc. areas of improvement needed in staffing levels and speed of service

The workers are nice, but the place seems disorganized, complaints are listened to, but nothing changes, lot's of staff turnover. Mom is not very clean. She always has crust around her eyes, behind and in her ears, and on her scalp. Her feet always have dry dead skin, especially between her toes. Her teeth are seldom brushed. Her nails are always filthy, as she eats primarily with her hands. I wonder about the areas I can't see. I bring wipes and eyelid cleaners, tooth and hairbrush, and lotion so I can care for her when I visit. The floors and bathrooms are not clean. Laundry is misplaced. VERY expensive care for what you get.

It is not as organized as I would have liked. Some services that we are paying for are not happening as they should and the staff have dropped the ball because of communication issues. There have been some confusion with medications as well. The staff are all very nice and they are trying their best. Overall there are just some areas that they need to improve on - they are going through growing pains and we are hoping to see some improvements in the future.

We really like that the memory care side is a smaller area and its divided up into cottages that only allows up to a maximum of 13 residents. This allows our loved one to receive more one on one attention which is more important to us. The meals and dining service is excellent and based on our experience so far we would recommend the North Point Village to other families.
