Anthology of Burlington Creek was OK. It's a little pricey and there wasn't too much in the respite care. If you had respite care, you had to go into memory care. I wasn't as enthused about that facility. You had to have more time for their limit for respite care. So, there were a lot of things that didn't meet our criteria. The physical facility was very nice. The person that toured me was fair. The biggest issue was they had just been bought two weeks ago by another thing, and they had no literature. No handouts. No explanation of what they had and then I got a text back from him later telling me what the cost was for the respite care and that was it. Just one amount and I wasn't too impressed with their presentation.
Read moreI think things are going well but there is a little improvement I would like to see in all categories. Thank you. I am happy with our choice. I'd say things were going well. I am optimistic that my loved one will do well there.
I would say that they cost a fortune and don't communicate in a timely fashion if at all and don't seem to be able to deal with the complexities of a resident with dementia. We picked this community, because it was close to us, let her have her cat and it seemed like a place she would choose.

They are welcoming when I stop by and are always willing to talk with me as a friend. I love the updates o get when my mom participates in activities and love to be able to see what her favorite activities are that she attends.
