Legacy House of Bountiful was the one my mother decided to go to. She chose it because she recognized people that she knew that lived there. She likes the apartment setup and she absolutely loves the food. She also likes the activities calendar. She's very social, so she likes the idea of being able to go to planned activities and meet with other seniors and spend time with them. She loves playing bingo three times a week. She loves her church meetings. There are four different church meetings a week for her. They did an autumn tour to a city up in the canyon that she hadn't been to for years, and it was beautiful with all the autumn leaves. She absolutely loved that. They have musical numbers come in once a week and entertain, which she just absolutely adores. They have an exercise program that she participates in and social eating. So, the atmosphere for a social person like her is just so perfect. Sometimes the staff is a little slow to respond to her remote button, which is frustrating for her. We're hoping that response time improves a little bit because she needs her assistance going to the bathroom a little faster.

My mother will be moving into Legacy House of Bountiful. We are choosing it because of the services they offered and the location. The staff seemed very nice and confident. The room was nice and clean but it wasn't quite finished yet, and that's part of the reason we can't move in yet. They had activities, and meals and they had a cute residential dog. The ratio that they had of caregiver to a patient is 1 to 15 during the day and 1 to 30 at night seems understaffed to me.

We chose the Legacy House of Bountiful for my mother. The people that are living there were more active, talking, and engaging with each other. It was a beautiful community. The staff was very nice, answered all our questions, and very personable. I loved them. They're amazing. We saw the menu, their activities, and everything. The menu had a wide variety and something new. They had things like bingo, exercise, religious services, arts and crafts, music, and just a lot of different things. The location is excellent. It's downtown and easy to get to and from the freeway. It's a nice area.

I liked Legacy House of Bountiful. It's not as grandiose as the others but it seemed very welcoming. What it lacks in grandeur, it makes up for just a very welcoming and cozy appeal. It just seems very good and very nice. The staff that accommodated me was very nice, she was wonderful. The place has all been recently renovated and I love the location because it's right off of Main Street. It's such a charming, historic main street with parks and it's right by a bookstore and the post office. I looked at their assisted living and memory care. They had their own salon and daily lists of activities. I loved that outside of each door, they have a personalized area, kind like a front porch even though it's not a porch, and it was just really sweet to see how each person had decorated or their family had decorated the exterior with a wreath or just different things that maybe were important in that family. I liked that. It seemed like they had all the facilities that you would hope for. I didn't see the food, but the dining room looked nicely appointed and the linen napkins looked nice.

I did a tour of Legacy House of Bountiful. They were very informative, and very kind. They answered our questions. It looks like for someone who needs assisted living, they provide a social network. They have an in-house doctor, and the apartments were nice and clean; I was impressed. They give you all the facts right up front; they give you a brochure with the breakdown of the costs, so you know exactly what you're looking at. It's a friendly environment. The staff all seems to know each other and know the residents. So, in particular, that one I like because they have a pet, which is a big plus for my dad. They're allowed to have dogs and they actually have a house dog that can go around. They have three different rooms. You can do a single bedroom, a double bedroom, or a studio, and you can also pick which floor you're on so you can keep costs down a little bit if you want to, but if you want to pay a little bit more for a nicer room, you can. The thing that really is important to me, is that the wheelchair can literally roll right into the shower. They have a microwave in the room, and if they want to keep snacks and warm them up, they can. If somebody were really, really sick, it may not be the place for them, but for someone who didn't have a lot of medical needs, I would rate it a five. I mostly interacted with the office manager, but she was great. On food, I didn't really get to taste any of it or really see it, but they have options for every meal, which I like. There are only certain things I was looking for, but for the guys looking for that, everywhere was very wheelchair accessible. There were elevators everywhere. It was clean, it was up kept. I think some facilities are a little bit newer, but that doesn't really matter to me. It was well cared for, and it was very accessible with a wheelchair. They had a really nice dining room, a nice theater room, and gym; they have these things that you would want.
