I feel compelled to give a big “thank you’ to bruce morrison and his great staff. They are wonderful, and treat my mom like their own grandmother. I can’t say enough about how i feel so blessed to have my mother in such a nice, warm environment. . . And the food is great too! Thanks again. – kathryn p.as i was leaving the lakeview hospital after having double pneumonia, i was pleased my daughter arranged for me to enter “welcome home” to get well. I had excellent care, good meals, all the rooms were very clean and i had lots of rest. . . It couldn’t have been better! I learned to love all the residents and i appreciated the many challenges they each were facing. The main blessing i learned was that “welcome home” was a very sacred place. . . . . An experience we all need to enjoy! I am now better and back at home, but i still go over to welcome home assisted living in bountiful utah and eat lunches a couple of times a week with the other residence (they have me pay a small fee for the food). This place is simply everything that I would want when looking for a place for my parents. I had a great experience with the owner and staff. I felt welcome there and not to sound cliche but it really did feel a bit like home.
I worked here for a few years and absolutely loved it! The owner of this place is so caring and treats every resident as if they were his own family! I would high recommend this place for your loved ones or for a place to work!

Owner is a horrible person! I have worked at welcome home for over a year and was the care coordinator there. I have spent more time at welcome home than i have at my own home over the period working there. I received a new job opportunity working else where and put my notice in. After giving my notice bruce the owner was very unprofessional and ran my name through the mud with other employees and staff. After feeling very uneasy about what he was saying i decided to leave early and let him know why, he told me that he was glad i was gone after the countless hours i put into making sure welcome home had staff on the floor for the residents. I would never put my loved one in Welcome home. Bruce refuses to hire a housekeeper so the rooms are disgusting to the point that family members are offering to come in themselves to clean the carpets in their loved ones room. The washer has been broken for months and has mold growing inside of it, which is very unsanitary and makes the building smell horrible, the oven is broken in building A which he also refuses to fix and turns on with out being touched which is very unsafe to residents, staff and visitors. He also has the cnas cooking breakfast in the mornings (because he is too cheap to have cooks in the facility) when the cnas are also supposed to be getting them up for the day and getting there medications to them. He keeps cutting the food budget so there is not enough food to feed the residents, He makes false promises to families and throws cnas and admin under the bus to residents. If I where looking to put a loved one in an assisted living, welcome home would be the last place I would put them. LOOK ELSEWHERE

Great place if you want bugs in the bad water they have in this place. Plates are old and dingy. Staff is not very well-trained and will turn on you in a flash if you complain about how they are caring for your loved one. They are conspiratorial. The new manager is uneducated about end of life procedures and is rarely there. You can go in and out of that place without signing in and wearing a mask due to Covid-19. They don't take your temperature either if no one is around, which is frequently. The pictures on here on misleading. They treat older people, like my mother, like a child. I would not put my dog in this place--ever!
