My parents have moved here two weeks ago. It's a nice quiet place. It's very suitable for my parents at their age, 68 and 72. It's a clean environment and obviously, it has a good vibe. In general, I'm quite happy with it. Value for money is good.

You're completely on your own as a resident. I saw just the staff that works up front, and she was lovely and very nice. I saw a workout room. It's an older community, but it seemed spacious.

Legacy Hills at Poway was a quiet place. The manager's name was Christina. She was very professional and very cordial. She helped me find the place, and the place itself was well-cared for. They were very nice people. They had some covered parking available. The rent would be reasonable. They have a $130 per month surcharge for all utilities for the water, and they include a full cable. When you put those together, the money that I'm paying now in three bills would be in one bill. It was a very, very attractive feature. They have many room options. They have a one-bedroom (which is what I'm looking at) and an efficiency unit.

Appeared to be a very nice Independent Living Facility and was getting ready to move in, then was informed the facility is changing from an Independent Living facility (meals, cleaning, social events, etc) to an senior apartment complex (no meals, no cleaning, no etc). Additionally the units do not have kitchens only microwaves and refrigerators. So, Apartments without a kitchen, works if meals are provided but they are not.
