The staff here are SUPER rude and not accommodating at all! My grandmother''s hospice social worker was working with them to try and get her a bed at their facility and after jumping through all the hoops they denied her and wouldn''t give the social worker a reason as to why. She offered to answer any questions they had and even offered to have their nurse call and speak with them and they still said no AND HUNG UP ON HER! It honestly seems like a blessing in disguise, because these employees have HORRIBLE attitudes and have NO business taking care of others loved ones. Oh and of course they leave an answer to my review saying they cannot talk about a patient on here. Yeah, I get it, but as obviously stated in my review you wouldn''t talk about the patient regardless. This seems to be your response to all the negative reviews.

Having a loved one at this facility was a nightmare, my mother in law was here for just over 2 months before she passed away 1 day after mothersday. The care from one wing to another is drastically different. Laurels failed to communicate, we had to hunt down nurses for information, my loved one was always wearing the same (dirty) clothes on our daily visits. We had to request that house keeping clean up the food on the room floor. My mother in law was discharged from promedica to be put on hospice at laurels and when she arrived back to laurels hospice was never called until I had to do my own investigative work and found out they did not do so and called hospice the day she passed away. It was a horrifying experience walking around the corner to her room with the hospice nurse and the laurels nurse yells yay hospice when she seen us. The insensitive and immoral staff need to find jobs there passionate about. These are people''s loved ones dying. This place needs a complete overhaul of staff, ownership, integrity and training. They recently put in a fancy entrance when the room floor board heaters are rusty and falling off the wall. Typical government care. Find any where else to take your loved one but here.

Had my Mom there for 3 weeks. We were there 8-12 DAILY. Went backwards and back in Hosp for 4 days. Day 1 Put her medicine on cpap instead of Bipap. Caused her retain co2. Gave wrong meds in nebulizer inhaler. Meds were late or never given. Long waits on call light. Started taking care of it ourselves. Carelink [name removed] said he could tell online that her Bipap was never on her for long periods while sleeping. We were lied to by staff when we asked. Food is very low quality. 2 RN's that worked there told us to get my mom out of there. Wouldn't leave a stray dog there unattended.
