I would give this place a 5 across the board they were amazing!!! A little expensive but well worth it for the care and peace of mind that she got and we had with leaving her.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They have met all of the needs of our loved one. This community is clean and close to family, and this was been a good decision for our love done and family. The communication with the staff is great!

I went to see their assisted living facility, and it was fine. They were very, very helpful during the tour. They offer meals, housekeeping, and laundry. They have private, nice apartments. There was no issue with the place; it's just not going to be right for my husband. They did a very nice job with the visitations and everything. I have no complaints at all. They're actually still following up with me, which is kind. The staff was top-rated; they did great. Chris was really good. Their nurse came out and did an evaluation of my husband. They did a nice job.

We toured Masonville Place for my siblings. They were very helpful and very personable. They are all vaccinated, one hundred percent, and they had not had one single case of Covid. We had to take a fast test before we could get into the facility and they had hand sanitizer readily available, and the place looked immaculate and smelled well. Two separate wings have outdoor spaces. You can work in the flowers, or you could have a small garden plant or plant a few plants. If I had to go myself, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to go there. The dining room was closed to visitors because of Covid. They were really, really very good and very friendly. They didn't hesitate to come up and welcome you, even though we were on the tour. It looked very well there, and everything looked very well maintained.

From the moment we walked in, their PR person has responded to my requests for information, and he was excellent. He was like a friend, not pushy at all, and if he didn't know something, he would get someone who knew the answer. I can't go in there without everyone saying "Hi, how are you" and asking about my loved one. They are very welcoming. My loved one is the type that on her own doesn't reach out. But if you pull her out of her shell, she participates greatly. They seem to have been able to do that with her. She loves to play bingo every day, and they have paper money that you can hand in to buy things in the store. Between getting her involved in activities and everybody being so welcoming, my heart has felt so much better. This has been a difficult choice to have to make. But they've made it so much easier. They allow you to take your loved one out on outings as often as you want to go. In the beginning, they required a negative Covid swab to come visit - and they were offering those there on-site. Now you just go in and have your temperature taken. They all seem very caring and conscientious. I like that you have a choice between a studio and a 1-bedroom apartment. My loved one has the 1-bedroom, and it feels like a little home to her, which makes my heart feel good. I feel like a lot of places have just a bedroom with a bed in it. And she has a whole apartment, with a full sized fridge, and I was able to fit all her usual living room furniture in the living room. Her bedroom is the same size as the living room. The bathroom and shower are big. The whole apartment is huge. There are levels of care, a base line and then several levels above that. As the levels go up and the cost goes up, they told me that sometimes people downsize to the studio to keep it more affordable. So it's nice to know that's an option. They're a pet-friendly community, and they'll help with the care of the pet as well if you need it, which I think is exceptional. They even give my loved one's pet its medication for her. That and the apartment size were the deciding factors. They had the space, the activities, the pet care. It gives my loved one her life. Every day she says she doesn't know what she would do without her pet with her. It's the love of her life. Pet care may not sound like a lot to a non-pet owner, but it's exceptional to her. They help her with showering, and would provide extra help if she had any kind of accident. I've never once picked her up and smelled an odor on her or in her room. The nurse has been excellent with answering my questions, and helping me as the primary caregiver to acclimate to things on a medical perspective. They easily call her if they have questions or needs. That makes me feel better about her care. I still take her to her doctor appointments, but they have transportation there if you need it. Because they have so many levels of care there, people with memory issues are welcome as long as they're not a flight risk, even though technically it's just assisted living. They'll come and get my loved one for her meals and guide her there, instead of just saying it's time. She tells me how nice everybody is to her. And that makes all the difference for her to feel safe and cared about. When I'm out the door, I don't feel like there's a different level of care being given. What you see is what they are. The executive director and the nurse always tell me if you need anything, you can text or call. They're very open and available. It was hard for me to let go and to trust, but they've always been very good about being available and accommodating.
