My experience working at Landerbrook has been the highlight of my career. The residents, families, and staff are collaborative, supportive, and give their all every day. The facility is the cleanest place I have ever worked, and the maintenance team takes pride in everything they do. The new administrator is reliable, outgoing, and always a phone call away. She is a great leader and does everything in her power to make her staff and residents happy. The new activities director at Landerbrook is also outstanding, if you ever go in, make sure to ask for her and check out her resident''s schedule, you will not be disappointed. Last but not least, the clinical staff has improved since covid and has a fantastic DON as a leader, they are attentive, personable, and truly love what they do. I can say whole heartedly that the newer team that has taken over is here to stay and continuously improve.

My father was in this facility a few years ago - we had to hire round the clock aides on our own because staff was unresponsive to him. We were so pleased to discover that my fathers neighbor was also in this facility - but unfortunately he fell And died while he and my father were there. Take it for what it’s worth. Hiring aides of your own is totally worth it if you can afford it - in any facility.

My wife was there for several months for physical rehab after a lengthy illness. Th sad part about this facility is the attitude of the staff. There were a few people who did care about my wife’s care, but the majority did not. I don’t know if it due to upper mgmt having a sour attitude or the staff not being paid decently. Plus, it takes forever for ANYONE to respond to a patient call…IF you can get someone to answer AND IF the call button is even working! My wife has unfortunately been in at least 6 different facilities over the 3+ years and most of them are not good. If you can afford to keep your loved one at home and have a family member watch over them, do it. These places are not well regulated in the state of Florida, so do your homework.

It was so bad that the police and ems were called to get him removed. The management themselves are awesome! They talked with me and helped some but I feel that it wasn''t enough!! My dad still talks about what happened and gets upset about. I called the number provided by the owner and it''s disconnected!
